hey Azanor! I really like the new golems! I have a idea though.You should make golems that follow you, this could also be a upgrade/change to the new golem. Another thing that would be cool is to be able to name them. Also one more thing, I have my guard golems so that they will murder everthing, but would it be possible to set it kind of like MFFS so that it only kills people without ID/Permission. I'm having some troubles on my private server regarding Aura nodes. One of my players started setting up a base in a new section of the map but was having troubles with his infernal furnaces. When I went to see what the problem was, I determined that there was a very large aura dead-zone around his base, no nodes for at least 200 blocks in any direction. I noticed this problem when I logged in near his base and my Goggles of Revealing weren't reporting any numbers (not even the GUI appeared). Because at the time we were still on TC3.0.2 I upgraded the server with the latest TC3.0.2c and changed the config file to regenerate nodes.
However, even now as the server reports more and more chunks where "World gen was never run" (adding them to the queue and regenerating them), no new nodes have appeared around his base. I flew around for a while looking for nearby nodes or at least changes in the aura numbers and nothing.
Is there a version of thaumcraft "3.0.2" that will work for the mindcrack pack without updating forge, it is for my server. like maybe a? do they all require an updated forge?
It isn't too hard to redo the jar for the mindcrack pack, download forge, download liteloader (not sure for server), throw both into the server/client jar.
Hey azanor, love the mod, especially the Golems! there so much more adorable then pipes, also another one of my favourite part of the mod have been the wands, there so much more useful then I thought they would be, but i also feel like carrying around 5 wands is a bit much space in your inventory, and i feel like im just using tools, not magical wands of power.
So what there should be is a way to "add" wands into the wand of thaumaturge:
You could infuse a wand like the Wand of equal trade into your wand of thaumaturge, and have a good amount of aspect pumped in as well, then have some way of cycling threw your "installed" wands. I think this makes you feel more like a mage with one wand who can cast spells, but it still fit into the way thaumcraft is organized to be you just reshaping things into new things. This would obviously be a late game research, maybe call it 'Wand Infusion"
The only issue i have come across while thinking of this is how the wands would be powered, like does each want have durability inside the big wand (and im no coder but that sounds like hell to code) or would the wand be powered directly with the vis from the wand?
What do you guys think?

Random question, guys - how can I make a custom flowers to place in the world? I have no modding knowledge whatsoever, so yeah, even coding basic items is beyond me. See, I want versions of those Magic Crop plants that I can plant on any ground or in flowerpots, but yeah. I'm below noobish when it comes to modding.

They already handle Flax (as of 3.0.2 might have been earlier but I didn't try) and Azanor has implemented Golem harvesting in his API so any mod crop that the modder cares to add can be.
REally? Yay! We have 301c on our server and they ignore flax and corn. I will be thrilled when we update then.

I do do that sometimes now, but in a slightly different form. I've got a two-hundred-page halfway-done novel in the works that features "Anghallin", an ambient magical energy that was partially inspired by ThaumCraft 2's Aura and Taint, except combined into one energy. And there's also a huge underground stone fortress with portals to random other worlds, that is controlled by an evil sorcerer and his wolf-like minions.
Yep, there's not a little bit of Minecraft inspiration in there.
yeah, hoped that that would be possible in a way, i have a modpack with extrabees and forestry for 1.4.7 is only 2.0. and extrabees isn't updated yet to forestry 2.0. i can't just disable extrabees cause there are allready a lot of beehives spawned
Latest Extrabees(1.4.9.31) works with newest Forestry(2.0.0.1) if you have item/block ids properly setup in the Forestry base config file.

Not sure about The End, but there's Nodes in the Nether.

Use dispensers/droppers. Have the golems put it into the dispenser/dropper, and run a clock into it so it dispenses/drops everything.
