I may have fixed it, it worked in sp, so i swapped back to the previous version and back again, and now the aura node is wiped So i'll just regen it. Crazy how this all works.
I did want to ask, is there any way in the future you would be able to code in and OP only item or SP item that could close rifts that are out of control. At one point i had so many bad nodes I was forced to pull the aura.dat to reset the world, I couldn't get the rain to even shut off with commands it was so bad.
Well going to a new area seemed to fix it so i stuck regen on and now its stuck again. Shows a static number 480/480 no matter where i go. Is it possible there's a bug?
Too bad you can't craft 9 bones into a Calcite block. I imagine there are *several* forumites here who would thrill to the prospect of living in a house made of the bones of their foes.
(EDIT: or is this another of those "No, Mount, just you." things...?)

I guess the bones = fertiliser is technically partially true, the chemicals in bones (I want to say phosphates but I'm not 100% on that) DO promote plant growth, but at nowhere near the effect of what bonemeal gives, it may give the plant greener leaves or stronger roots that in turn let it grow faster, but not "bonemeal, BOING NOW IM WHEAT"
Personally, I'd prefer it if mojang just did what BTW does and makes bonemeal a speed modifier instead of an instant effect, of course in TC the point is moot, we have a magic hoe that has the same effect as bonemeal but at least has the excuse of being magic
To be fair, these are bones from magical skeletons who actually walk around shooting at you. So by that logic, if those bones are potent enough to do that, the least they could do is make things instantly grow.
Question of course is... does Dokucraft have texture pack addons for all the mods I use 90% of the mods I am using right now have texture pack addons with Sphax. Of course 95% of the mods I use have texture pack addon support but some of them I choose to not use because the packs are incomplete.
The classic ones probably have addons for a lot of mods, but of course Sphax will have for more, since it's a more popular pack.

Plant more trees near to merge their nodes or pull an existing one toward you with the crystal totem thing.

It's a vanilla Minecraft issue as well. He'd have to ask for some new forge magic.
Seeds really don't matter with TC3 because even if you generate a new world with the same seed, nodes, barrows, the new obelisk/temples, trees and the ores that are added by the mod don't generate the same. So if one person got result A. another person would get a entirely different result.
Ah... Dokucraft... feels way to cartoony to me... then again Sphax is quite cartoony itself but it's grown on me and I've taken a liken to it. Although a few textures in the pack I'd wanna change around... too many damn hexagons x_x

How much is warranted? Should I just convert the items, write up an Thaumaturgist base class, or should I work on converting the rules on a larger scale? What would capture the mod the best?

Every time I try to turn it into a class, I get lazy and it winds up just being an artificer with homebrewed items. It's really difficult to capture the construction and lab worker aspects in an adventuring character class like that, so I throw them out and stick with the items. One thing I have toyed with that seems to capture the TC-thaumaturge feel is disenchanting items and spells in order to repurpose their magic. It mirrors the whole vis cycle and essence management aspects, and inventory management/resourceful use of collected aspects is an intriguing prospect for a P&P RPG.

I found a bug in 3.0.2b the Crafting Table give 0 Fabrico in the Crucible.
It was present in the previous version as well. I wrote about it many pages ago, but still no fix.
I'm a collector, and I have a project to collect one jar filled with each aspect. Fabrico's the only one I don't have yet. I could just use anvils, but that takes so much iron and damn I'm an idiot, the metallum can be turned back into iron, why didn't I think of that before?

Thaumcraft 3.0.2 + requesting an item with an aspect value with logistics pipes = crash. Not sure if this is TC3 issue or a Logistics pipes issue, but thought I would share it.
I had the same problem, and build 78 of logi pipes addresses the API change for thaumcraft (named ThaumcraftAPIHelper instead of ThaumcraftAPI). Unfortunately build 76 and on have been really unstable for me. However the needed thaumcraft api changes are located in common/logisticspipes/proxy/thaumcraft/ThaumCraftProxy.java. Just copy over that build 78 file to whatever build you like.

No idea... I just know forge is messed up like hell right now. I've stuck with 499 until the forge team gets their s*** together and fixes it.
I had the same problem, and build 78 of logi pipes addresses the API change for thaumcraft (named ThaumcraftAPIHelper instead of ThaumcraftAPI). Unfortunately build 76 and on have been really unstable for me. However the needed thaumcraft api changes are located in common/logisticspipes/proxy/thaumcraft/ThaumCraftProxy.java. Just copy over that build 78 file to whatever build you like.
