i found a bug Azanor if you try to use the wand of equal trade with the BlockFluxgoo (removing other blocks and placing the goo) on a block that on top of another with no other blocks in contact it crashes the game and you can't equal trade warded stone blocks out for others (don't know if thats a bug or if it's supost to be like that)
so would you say the basic feel of thaumcraft is supposed to stem from that isabella texture pack? is there any relation to it other than the fact that you used a couple textures and were simply crediting him?
The Thaumonomicon is used to see the recipes for the items. You need to research the items/blocks to be able to see it's recipe and craft it. To make it just put down a bookshelf then use the Wand of Apprentice (Recipe shown in NEI) and right click the bookshelf with it.
------------- There is a bug on servers. In singleplayer you get the the stuff and info at the top in the Thaumonomicon but on servers it is blinking and doesnt work at all. Then I mean like the information about the Aura and how to make a arcane worktable and that stuff
Found out that I am using Thaumcraft 3.0.0 lol... I didnt notice
I may sound like a bit of a noob, but how do I make a server with thaumcraft on it? Me and a freind want to play it so bad. If anyone knows, please tell me.

Install Minecraft forge in minecraft_server.jar and put thaumcraft 3 inside the mods folder

Azanor,
Jy het die beste mod ooit gemaak!

Now, I have a recommendation: For the Brainy Stone Golems, it would be cool if each of the three slots could have it's own color, so they could act as a sorter. I know this is possible with multiple golems, but it is a little bit more efficient.
Additionally, maybe a very high-tier golem could be "programmable", maybe similar to the Assembly Cart from the old Steve's Carts. For example, you could "program" a golem to collect iron ore from a chest with a blue marker, and drop it in an arcane furnace marked red (assuming golems can cook things in the arcane furnace). It would then move to a yellow marker in front of the furnace and wait for a set amount of time (i.e. until it has collected all the ingots/nuggets). Then it finally would bring it to a chest with a green marker. It would be a very convoluted and expensive process to create such a golem, but I IMHO think that would be a really amazing feature to add to this already amazing mod! (Assuming it is possible to program such a thing) Either way, just my two cents.
As Azanor said earlier on this page, Levitators also slow anything falling under them.
So basically, you can achieve a nice elevator by this method:
==X===
=
=+++==
=
=X====
Where "=" is any block, "+" is empty (I had to use it for spacing), and "X" is a levitator.
The shafts can be up to 8 blocks high (including the top and bottom sections) before you start to take fall damage, because Levitators work 10 blocks up and down.
Yea, didn't notice the slow fall below the levitators, so that helps a bit. Working on a design somewhat based on yours, as every floor of my buildings consists of I believe 9 layers including flooring and roofing (related to Steve's reach). I split this up into a main room consisting of the flooring, 4 spaces of air, and a ceiling, as well as an attic type room consisting of the main room's ceiling, 2 blocks of air, and it's own roof, and expand that upwards and outwards. All I need to do now is set up a trap door that will auto-close after I fall through it and I'll have my elevator system ready to go. This will let me use the levitators to quickly reach the main rooms and then use trap doors to get into the smaller rooms where I plan to hide most of my piping, storage, and wiring.
As for those arcane ears, I'm still not sure exactly how they work, but then if I actually researched it or cheated in a thaumanomicon I might be able to figure it out, but for tonight, I need to get to sleep.
Oh also for the design, I had to give Steve a head room of 3 blocks from the floor where I wanted to land so I wouldn't fall off, but then I'm also trying to make it as fast both ways as possible. With my current design I can probably clear about 30 blocks in 6 seconds or so going upward. Going downward is a little bit more tricky as you can easily step past one levitator from below and hit the other one from above, but if you hit it right it's about 3-4 seconds going down. Needless to say, much faster than the ladder.
I keep getting an error saying that forge mod loader has found a problem. "Forge mod loader has found a problem with you mine craft installation. The mods and versions listed below could not be found Forge [6.4.1.407,) the file 'forgemodloader-client-0.log' contains more information." I know i installed forge correctly because i started mine craft before I added tc3. Am I just being an idiot and have a wrong download or is this happening to other people too?

it means you need to update your forge to the version it is saying ie:Forge [6.4.1.407]
They aren't meant to show up in NEI, you need to figure out everything yourself or cheat in a thaumanomicon with creative mode.
maybe this is a reccomended texture pack?
