If they couldn't, I guess you could pour a drop of lava every now and then, because they burn.
I though about filling the cube with water/lava, but they, obviously, don't spawn.
Made a perfectly functional prototype using piston to flood the cube when there are wisp inside. The best is that with the way they drop the essence it appear on top of the cube, just place a wood golem and you are good to go

I am using Mo creatures and millenaire, aspects are not compatible with millenaire and mo creatures stuff .
I just say that aspects are not displayed with that stuff.
Will they be in a near future ?

In a world, that existet prior Thaumcraft, i got a hill with a dungeon spawned right in my sheepfarm ...
Guess it spawns always some Dirt/Stone around it if there isnt any.
But i found a different problem for me now: I cant find those magic trees (the blue ones) in newly generatet chunks. The other kind of trees spawn, but i never found one of the others. Already explored chunks around my spawn had some ...

Found it while clearing a dungeon added by the mod Dungeon Pack and I saw it buried in the side of a hill I walked past to get to the dungeon. xD When over and looked inside and there was two zombies and a Red Wisp. I barely started the world, so I dare not enter till I have better stuff. xD Funny thing is I found both dungeons looking for a Zap Apple Tree from the mod Zap Apple. XD
Wanna play this Mod but cannot! i have done eveerything you do for other mod installations but when it starts up a thing pops up saying Forge Couldt not find the Following files Forge Help!?
You have to upgrade your Forge. Don't use the recommended version, you have to use a newer version. It's specified in the Original Post.
Achievement reset happens when you get ANY achievement from ANY mod.
None of IC2's entry-level Achievements (Better Than Iron, Sticky Situation, and New Ore Miner) are making achievements reset on a close and reopen, but none of them are receivable right off the bat like the ones in question in TC3. Perhaps that's the problem causing resets, and if it is it should be a fairly quick fix. Just make WotA require Benchmarking and FYEO need WotA (as you need it to make a Thaumonomicon) and it might be taken care of.

Question: How many different types of Wisps is there? One for each Base Element (Water/Fire/Earth/Air/Vis/Flux), or one for each Aspects?
Also, I noticed that some Aspects on certain items have a glowing number, what does that mean/do? o.o
1. There are wisps of every aspect.
2. There is a slightly large amount of that Aspect around. For instance if you had a warded jar with Crystal in it, the Crystal aspect would glow. It upgrades things related with that Aspect in a way I can't remember too well. I think it has something to do with research. Improved research chances with that Aspect I think.
EDIT: If you purposely put flux of a certain aspect into the aura, that kind of wisp will spawn

2. Oh, ok then, I first notice this when I stuck a log in my research table, then again with a bucket of water and it confusled the banananers out of me. XD
Azanor, you mentioned other crucibles than the 'simple' one. Can some of these PLEASE be multiblock? I really want a giant 5x5x5 crucible to stand over while my little golem minions fill it with tons of water. In addition, I wanted to post my golem requests here:
Sentry Golem: Can be set to wait for players, owner, players who aren't owner, or mobs, and will flip a switch/push a button when one comes in range. The thing to activate can be marked with a marker. It can hang around a different area (set when you place it)
Supply Golem: Will supply other golems with items they want, such as buckets, bottles, etc.
Warning Bell: When triggered with either redstone or a right click it will have all your golems come and circle around the bell. So I can defend my house without having to worry about my little golems getting hurt...
Goggles Golem: Can be told to press a button/flip a lever at a marker like a sentry golem, but instead responds to flux or aura. So I can say have a warning alarm when the flux gets high, or have it tell me when the aura has refilled.
Repair Golem: Will try to replace blocks that have been disrupted in the area. For instance, one assigned near a wall would replace the bricks if someone detonates TNT.
Also, am I correct that the wand of equal trade cannot be used to place warded stone? This seems like a bit of a problem to me, as upgrading my outer walls to use warded stone seems exactly the kind of thing that the wand would be for. Also, eventually might there be ways to block the passage of energy from an aura node through things, so that we might do something to prevent other people from using our nodes from just outside our castles.
Lastly, have you made any progress on figuring out the issue with mystcraft ages and auras, and even if you hadn't, I was wondering what exactly your desired behavior for the interactions would be. For instance, after a few regen attempts I managed to generate nodes on a mystcraft void world, but all of them ended up being only slightly above the void.

Did the same player host the game that hosted it when you did the research initially?
We play in lan. And I'm the server, but I backup my world In her minecraft save. So, when she login in my lan world, her TC3 load her saved research tree (from the backup) instead of mine (lan world). To fix this, I have to copy my TC3 save files to her save dir to be "syncronized", OR delete the backup from her PC.
First off, thank you Azanor! I have been waiting for this ever since you first posted about it. Both my wife and I loved TC2, so this is great!
I am having one problem, though. Last night, it was perfectly fine, everything cool. I load it up about ten minutes ago to show my wife, and opening my inventory, opening anything with a GUI, all I get is a huge white box that says "missing texture". I've reinstalled OptiFine, and switched back to default textures, but nothing changed. Wondering if this is a problem with the mod, or compatibility, or something. Going to post this in the OptiFine thread also.

6.4.1.409 runs everything fine for me- even a server. That includes ExtremeBiomesXL (the normal download, not the development one).

It's on the surface and looks like small mound of dirt. It has 2 iron bars as a 'door', and a circle stone block above the entrance.
Found two near each other in my world- some nice loot.

Not possible to research, only way to get that item is to cheat it in. People should know this due to Direwolf20's mod spotlight on TC3
