I am getting this weird bug where when I look at a thaumcraft plant (tree sapling, quicksilver etc...) the crop turns into a pink box...
I can't use the hoe of growth on them because of this...
here is an example of before I look at it and after...
P.S. I am using thaumcraft on the FTB Ultimate pack without any modifications to any mods on a SMP server hosted by myself.

tbh. it would be worse, if you could dupe the jar for unlimited fuel. how many harnesses does one need?

i know this is probably intentional. but the harness really doesnt grant a lot of armor, which makes using it pretty risky. especially, if you want to use it in combination with boots of the traveler, and youre wearing your goggles instead of a helmet. would it be possible, to combine it with a thaumium armor at one point? maybe as a higher tier version of the item.
im not expecting quantum armor op ness, but it probably wouldnt be too much, if the harness or an even further advanced version, granted iron armor level protection.
the tradeoff between more (flying) speed and lower overall armor, with boots of the traveler is definitely fine. but when you want to go about your daily business, building stuff together with the goggles and the low armor value of the harness, it looks pretty bad protection wise.

Hmm. Well, don't forget, the harness can be enchanted with haste, and efficiency. And, if you've got mods, you can have armors that add tons of armor point thingys. Like mekanism's obsidian armor.

I've been putting together my mods for my next world, having decided to play SSP for a while, and I went to add thaumcraft and realised that I just cannot bring myself to do research again.
What with servers crashing and resetting everything, minecraft updates, and all the rest I've lost count of the number of times I've had to start research. Granted it's easier when you know what to chuck in the slot, but unless I tweak the rules and give myself 100% chance of success (or worse, cheat in a completed thaumonomicon) it's still going to not be any fun.
Has anyone else gotten to the point that they just don't want to have to do research again?

Honestly, I don't blame them. Research is interesting the first time or three, but after that it becomes really tedious. Unfortunately, I don't really know how to fix it.

Yes, I do this quite often, I'm afraid.
On my first go, I went researching, and it was fine. Then, I started using the cheat Thaumonomicon.
After a long break, I decided to do the research fairly, while using the FTB modpack, but now that this mod is updated to 1.5.2, I'm thinking I'll use the cheat Thaumonomicon again.

i haven't be able to get on my minecraft account and play with the new update and i probable wont be able to till Saturday can people please tell me what some of the new Addison are

It's more creepy than anything. Everyone has my config files, so we definitely are. I feel I should not that we're all seeing the wild golems, haha.
I love the direction it's gone though, heh.

Turn off the NEI block labels.

Should these id dynamically get from forge at first time run mod?
I'm worry about this may cause conflict with other mod.
