Hey, I've been playing with the m-ore mod with a bunch of other mods, and noticed mobs don't properly spawn in the nether. I'm not sure if this is because of m-ore, but has more-ore been known to mess with mob spawning? Probably not, but just wondering.
Also, when is the new update for m-ore, and will it be compatible with 1.10?

Monster Control: the adventure map for minecraft java edition. A map that has been in production for 4 and a half years.
Can someone give me the exact spawn rate for Platinum Ore? I heard somewhere that it only spawns in caves, so I go on an Extreme Hills only world (for more caves & ravines) and do /fill 0 0 0 31 31 31 air 0 replace more:platinum_ore, but it always says "no blocks filled". So I know it is less than 1/32768. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
As of July 2017, I can't find a download link for a mod version compatible with Mincraft 1.12. Can anyone share such a download? Is this great mod still maintained? Thanks

This is probably BECAUSE there is no Minecraft 1.12 version of this Mod yet. (not even 1.11). The latest Minecraft Version this Mod is compatible with is 1.10.2.
All you gotta do is wait patiently for the Modder (Kuuu) to release more Updates. 8P
UPDATE: I did a flying run with an X-Ray mod, having everything turned off except platinum, and I saw NOTHING. This leads me to believe that the spawn rate is 1 in 1 billion AT BEST, if not 1 in 1 trillion or even 1 in 1 quadrillion.
NEW QUESTION: Is there any way to change the spawn rates of ores besides editing the source code? I need to get the spawn rate up to a nice, comfy 1 in 10,000.

Second thing is, if it would be possible to also see the crafting recipe from the Inventor's Table in the NEI/JEI Inventory, or otherwise if that isn't possible, maybe add an Ingame recipe list, to the Inventor's table, so that it is possible to look up the recipes ingame!
And will it also be possible to use the mod with forge and without modloader?

Ok nice sounds very good, and no you didn't misunderstand something, I just thought that the mod would use ModLoader, and that would be not so very good for me.
And because of the fact that the MoCreatures Mod is for that forge Version, I would be very glad, if the Mod is also compatible with lower version of Forge (because I use forge 12.18.2.2120 and would be very happy if the new version also be compatible with that Forge version.

Actually, I've put the redstone torches just for scary lighting
These are Uranium Creepers, they go off like usual ones (the explosion is much bigger though), but luckily they are neutral, so they don't attack first. (That setting is configurable, so if you like hardcore, you can set them to aggressive :))

I'm sad that you were never able to fix platinum's spawn rate. I ran some tests on many mc worlds and never found a single piece of platinum ore.
Actually, I found a way to fix it, but later decided to remove the ore for some reasons. However, it seems like you guys really want to have this ore, so I will add it back in M-Ore 8.1. Will do ASAP.
Are there any other mobs that added to this mod except Uranium Creeper?
I have been making Tin Golem, haven't finished him yet. But he is spawnable through mob eggs. Tame him by feeding a power sphere, he will follow you and kill enemies, but he is laggy, that's why you can't spawn him in survival for now. This and Uranium Creeper are new mobs.

So, another major update is here! M-Ore 8 for 1.10.2 is released, M-Ore 8 for 1.12.2 is in development.
Some big features:
1) Uranium Creepers
2) Uranium ore and ingots are now radioactive! You get poisoned and dizzy if you touch these when not wearing a full armor set!
3) More decorative granite blocks
4) Dye Station. You can dye wooden planks, bricks and chiseled bricks here!
5) Sphere of Power. It can be found in chests in villages or crafted. It is consumable and gives you speed III and regeneration III for 25 seconds.
6) Full JEI support (By the way, it's getting hard to keep all the recipes on this forum page, so please install JEI)
7) Titanium is now spawned in clay. You get titanium dust after mining it, which should then be smelted in furnace to get titanium ingots.
8) Many things got new textures
9) Ore spawn settings and tools settings are now configurable
10) Dungeons/Temples/Villages chests loot
11) Removed some ores
12) Added some ores. Ores in M-Ore 8: copper, cassiterite (tin), uranium, bauxite (aluminum), granite, red granite, chromium and meteorite (both spawn in the Nether), silver, titanium, ruby, sapphire, aquamarine, olivine, opal
13) The rarest ore is opal. Tools made of it are much better than diamonds!
14) I feel like I forgot something..
