Maybe you should add 1 or 2 more zones in here but still keep them unique. I think you should make villages a bit more common but not by much. At least enough to where you can always at least find one in each world somewhere relativity close. Im glad it works with forge, but you should make it official with both versions. Also, you should seperate difficulty morre based on difficulty modes. Like on easy the monsters dont spawn as much but gets harder based on difficulty (Just like default but since monster spawning is a lot more different in this mode it needs change as well) so I can have a choice to play this and progress a bit easier. Like default, you should have a choice to have it easy or to have it hard if your daring. Anyways great mod keep this up

I would like to add new zone, but first I would need to solve the biomes problem, so probably switch to Forge.
Villages are so rare because of the material etc. you can get. Ensuring you find one close is not possible due to the spawning algorithm of the villages.
If mod is for ModLoader, it WILL WORK WITH FORGE. This is official fact, you can even found it on Forge website, so it is official
I made no changes in difficulty, it all works like in vanilla Minecraft

yes i realize that, but when i went look at the code i was a bit confused, ive never looked at code that deals with minecraft so i wasnt quite sure what to look for. I was just trying to change that, if its not hard to explain i would really appreciate it. i was expecting it to be as easy as changing out a block number for another but i suppose that was a bit naive. and no i dont have any intention on distributing a changed copy, i really wouldnt see why i would distribute such a small change any way lol

Well, you would need to change all parts that generate new moss stone in the world to generate moss cobble. So you would open modCaveChunkProvider and everywhere change
I was finally able to add support for biomes, unfortunatelly their main layers cannot consist of blocks with ID higher than 127, which means that jungle biome couldn't be made only of moss stone.
Also, expect future updates far slower than the first one. I worked on the mod really hard and I can't keep it up always. Also, I will have a lot of exams in the near future.
But for the next update are planned mainly the biomes
As far as I know this mod isn't compatible with multiplayer yet.
By the way, Reaper, are you planning on porting this mod on Forge?
I thought about this and decited not to for now. I have several reasons, some of them are mainly questions which I hope will be answered soon. So again, not now, but maybe in the future

Hmm... they are supposed to spawn only in jungle and rock zones. It is probably caused by the way the mod handles the zones.

I think it might have been because it was RIGHT next to the border between the snow zone and a jungle zone.
