they are taking a break soon (which i think is nice) So they will now be releasing updates weekly then but after they are done with their break they will start updates weekly again

How difficult would it be to give the tardis the ability to travel around the overworld? This is the only thing stopping me from actually playing survival with this mod.
Also it would be nice if there was some sort of switch you pulled to travel, like the one in the show. It doesn't really make sense that the tardis materializes when you step out of it, so maybe after the lever is pulled, there are some tardis sounds that play, and then you pull the lever again to stop. Then, when you step out, the tardis is already solid.
This is inspired, of course, by the tardis bukkit plugin. The tardis features from that plugin, combined with this mod, would make the greatest doctor who mod out there.

1WTC said he is working on a x y and z so the tardis can move, I kind of like it materializes when you leave it, it might not make sense but it is still cool (the only way you can see it materialize while in single player)

We are planning something which will allow the Tardis to me moved in the worlds using the X Y Z however we wanted to wait til 1.7 to do this as the packets system in Minecraft changed, so we didn't want to do it in 1.6 then have to rewrite it all again for 1.7.
We are also adapting onto the console, we have some console models made / being made, then it is just a case of experimenting with them, to give each of the panels different functions

I have started porting the Dalek Mod source code over to 1.7.2 now, there are a ton of bugs at the moment, most of which are just caused by it still being a Beta release of forge, however I am patching most of the classes so that when a stable release of forge is out the update wont take as long, so far all of the entities / Items / Blocks are patched, I just need to go over Dimensions, World Gen and Renderers, and a few other classes.
As soon as I have a good stable copy ready I will release a test build, however this probably wont be until about half way through January, maybe sooner, it just depends on when the stable copy of forge is released

It is for the New years update, the one from Yesterday evening, however I put the wrong date when I updated the main post, I am however getting a small patch update out for Friday, just hopefully fix that annoying Tardis Regen Bug

Will it also fix the bug where items in the Tardis chests are displaced (if this hasn't been fixed already I mean)?
i have three ideas for you guys to work on (but only if you like them and you want to) i would like to see them, but it does not have to be until next year. WARNING! NUMBER 3 IS WEIRD!

when you put on the 3D glasses and one of the other dimentions has been loaded on the save void particles will appear around everyone on the world
idea 2 (REALLY HARD!)
if someone has BEEN into a dimention, that person does have the particles which you can see while you wear the 3D Glasses and people that have not been to another dimention have no particles

This is a quick overview of some of the features we have planned for 2014!
(We will not be mentioning all of them as it means they wont all be a surprise!)
Dalek mod API rewrite - Much better API supports more models, more cool features, less buggy, fully compatible with Mac/Linux/Windows. It will have the ability to Load / Save the .dlk files which can then be uploaded to the internet and shared, we may also be releasing special Daleks every so often, I am also looking into removing the limit of 10 custom Daleks, this will means that you can have as many as you like. The new API also has a feature to preview the Dalek you have made. At a later day a built in Texture editor will be added to make it easier for the user to make a custom texture.
Companion system - this has been asked a lot in the past and we will try and get it in for 2014, this will allow you to have any minecraft player as your companion, or choose from some provided, the companion will have a GUI where you can set them to do tasks, follow you, fight etc.
Bug Fix update - we will be having a big update where we are going to fix as many of the bugs as we can. Things such as Bessie, Regeneration, Weeping Angles, K9, Ironsides etc.
Tardis Changes - We plan of changing the Tardis (yet again) it will have a fully functional console, with panels to interact with the Tardis, we will be adding the ability to use a GUI to select planets / worlds, there will be another panel for flying the Tardis (Coordinates) Modifying the X Y Z of the Tardis in the current dimension, we might also look into making a flyable Tardis using the old EntityTardis left in the mod from modloader (However we are not sure if we are doing this yet, but there is still a chance). We will also be asking it so that uses can switch between Tardis Interiors / Exteriors)
Planets - We have a wide range of new planets planned to go and visit, however we do not want to give to much away at this moment.
Time vortex Manipulator - this will have a GUI which will allow the user to select the worlds easily and also see a preview of each world before traveling!
New Mobs - we have a vast selection of mobs planned, some cool custom Daleks, new Cybermen, and lots more (Don't want to say to much!)
Clothing - we have a ton of clothing modeled already for the mod which we plan to add very soon!
Tardis again -We have found a cool way to make see into the Tardis from the exterior and we will be experimenting with this and we will try adding it in the new future (Yes this means the Tardis key will actually do something again, and the doors will open!)
Dalek Mod APP - The Dalek Mod app will include lots of useful features, such as a news feed which will give you information on updates / news, it will have a crafting guide, which will provide all the crafting recipes in the mod. There will also be Mob stats, Mod info, and a section for the update videos and also another section where you can watch lets plays
