I'm on 1.7.10 and I keep running into this bug. I've tried using SEUS shaders, and I've tried using a couple other different shaders but I always get the same outcome, so I thought it might be the core mod itself. Can anyone help me with this?
I'm Using AMD Radeon Graphics.

Hello, been a while since I used shaders, having a problem that I remember fixing before but I dont remember how. Basically I'm using the the 1.7.10 Forge version. When I install the Shadermod, my minecraft runs horribly slow - and I dont mean FPS here, even the start menu takes forever to click buttons, etc, and it doesnt matter if I actually run a shaderpack or not. I have a very high end PC so that isnt the problem. I remember having this problem in an older version with lots of mods, but at that time either deleting or installing Optifine fixed it (don't remember which.) Now, however, it happens either way - same lag with Optifine or without it.
Is this common? Anything in particular to check on to get it running smoothly again?
Because that looks like you're wither using a very old GPU or old drivers ... or both.
Radeon (TM) HD 8670M. I also have Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 but the mod has worked with my laptop before so I know that it's not incompatible.
My Laptop is brand new and runs windows 8 so I don't think they're that old..
I'm having trouble with mod items showing up as if they have a dark metallic/reflective texture when I'm looking directly at them while using this mod with any of the shader packs I've tried. If I have them on the edge of my screen they appear fine. Is there a fix for that?

Can you update the 1.8, so it is Compatible with Forge 1.8? I think I know the solution to the GTX 750ti Water Flickering problem.... You just need to install another mod with it, but you cant do it now unless you have forge since the Shaders for 1.8 is just an installer
Since my last post, I've realized that no light source, besides the sun, registers on dark oak plank blocks. Stairs and slabs work just fine with light but blocks themselves appear to be in pitch black unless a light source is being held. When they are placed, the light is not hitting the dark oak wooden planks.
will there be a forge version? the reason i'm asking is so far i've been using lite loader mods with shaders and it's been great, but one mod I have been waiting for finally updated but requires forge and I want to be able to run them both.
Hey everyone, can someone identify this shader pack?
Wondering which one it is, look at those fancy leaves
I think you'll find that's the resource pack making those fancy leaves and the shader pack just makes it look more epic. my suggestion, look for the resource pack and try it out with the shaders you have now to try find the closest result.

There was a computer dating back to Adam and Eve. An apple, and a very bad one at that, it only took 1 byte to crash everything.
"If they say IT IS Opposite day .. doesn't that mean IT ISN'T?
The Opposite of Opposite day is Normal day. so in turn, there will never be an opposite day. "
Carpet sways, torches facing west sway.
bottom half of stairs facing South sway.
vines and grass don't sway.
Spruce oak sway, may just be placed i forget this part.
Moving Cursor's Y position makes shadows act Very oddly. *Cough Cough* Shadows have ADHD
Sometimes Random Blocks appear along unloaded chunks Too I've Noticed.
Just installed the Shaders and I too am having the exact same problems.
Oak Trees are swaying, at first I thought it was the Texture pack I was using but it also does it on the Default Minecraft Texture Pack.
It is making me OCD
