Love this a whole lot. I replaced all the sounds I could with Tomb Raider sfx from the first three games.
Just one question though. I tried doing the same with the newmusic folder and it didn't seem to work.
Does the mod not recognize newmusic as a path?
So does anyone have a Zelda soundpack to go with this?I tried using this one http://www.minecraft...ack-2-versions/ but not all of the sounds seem to play for some reason(zombies dont make the right noises but enderman do and so does fire)

It normally should work.
EDIT: Found a bug... I'm gonna do another release when 1.4.3 comes out. Thanks for reporting!
To avoid having the enemy mobs use the "ow" sound, don't override the fall sounds, just the hit sounds. The player will cause both a hit and fall sound on falling, so you get the "ow" as well as the "thump", and enemies should only use the fall sound and their own hit sound.
I believe no sound pack is compatible unless it has been made compatible with this mod. Or made for this mod. The sound packs that works out of the box is posted in this thread and on huricaaanes website for this mod.
I believe you could download sound packs and just make them compatible yourself.
Yes, you can install sound packs that replace MAtmos sounds too (and probably other mods that have new sounds, assuming they initialize their resources before the player joins a game / opens a singleplayer map, code wise)
Well this mod is not nearly as simple as SoundModEnabler, it is especially difficult to uninstall apparently. I have deleted my entire Minecraft folder 3 times over and still when it downloads new files, nearly all of the sounds in game are silent.. can someone explain to me how to completely get rid of this please?
EDIT: Nvm, hmm they just randomly started working again...
Thanks....
Im amazed love the way of sound pack combining and overriding
Download as always and a +1
EDIT: misplaced a letter
Just one question though. I tried doing the same with the newmusic folder and it didn't seem to work.

Zelda Sound Pack
All I did was rename the sound files accordingly.

Zombies from Call of Duty Black Ops

Old Damage Sound
It makes the old 'Ooh' sound play 1/3 of the time that you take damage.

This will be fixed in 1.4.3

It can be downloaded here: http://www.mediafire.com/?35ht0rw16sj3ymk
To install the sounds, just follow the standard installation procedure for sound packs (that is, extract the zip to .minecraft/audiotori). Enjoy!
