Doesn't have Direwolf20 a version of EE3 with working transmutation in his current ModPack? I suggest getting the modpack and taking the EE3 version from there.
regards,
Mr. J
I think he's referring to the last possible 1.4.7 version, not the pre1f release.
I wonder, who knows what the new blocks will do and when they will do what they do?
I'm just glad that this mod hasn't gone dead 'cause all the "UPDATE EE2 PLOX/NAO" crap that's been floating around this thread, and all the "ADD CONDENCERZ BLARGH" crap as well, and even all the "ADD (insert item from FMA/mob based off FMA/all that other stuf) PLZZ/NOW" crap as well that happened while I was gone. I know I was among their ranks before, but since my change of heart and understanding that it HAS to be hard to code something like this, I have decided to leave them behind, and move forward to the new dawn of EE that begins with pahimar's new installment into the series, which is EE3. (Man, I feel weird after writing that, lol XD. Almost as if I feel like that's something someone else might say if I had made this mod (If I did, I would have kept condensers but nerfed them, A LOT, by making it lose some EMC every what, 5-7 items it transmutes? And probably by powering it with not collectors or relays, but the philosopher's/minium stone, using up normal durability on it as if you were transmuting in the crafting bench.), which I am GLAD that I didn't, cause if I did, it would end up horrible due to the fact that I know no java whatsoever. :P) Anyway, back to the subject matter of this post:
If anyone can tell me what they do, they will be rewarded with: A BRAND NEW THANK-YOU FROM HALO! lol XD No, not saying that as though a thank-you from me is even significant or important in any large or meaningful way, I'm saying that as "Oh, hey, if you tell me this, I'll be grateful. Oh, really? Thanks! Would have never found that out had you not told me (At least, not until the mod was ready for that.)!" So, yeah, thanks in advance if anyone can answer me that, and I'll see you all later on when I check back to see what awesome progress has been made on this epic mod, or when I come back to see what the blocks do, and thank the person who answered that question. Now I gotta go get some food, haven't ate since midnight, and it's 10:02. *Logs off and goes to get food.*
Personally, I'm a bit worried about sticking too much to EE2 stuff. It seems with EE3 we are delving further into traditional alchemy. But stuff like dark matter feels more like modern science, than traditional alchemy. I actually hope he will not implement dark matter(though he said he will), and instead make something just as good that feels more in line with the alchemy theme. There! I said it!
exactly he wishes to troll them by making them think ee2 has been updated
Your idea isn't EE2 being updated at all. It would just be a name change that would confuse everybody. On the subject of Pahimar "trolling" us with the idea of EE2 being updated, I think he would rather finish his new mod before going through the long arduous process that is updating from 1.2 to 1.3 to 1.4 to 1.5 in fact, I wouldn't expect him to do that at all.

Well, when you put it that way, I can see where you are coming from. Though, while dark matter is an incredibly scientific material, it is also something that we humans know almost nothing about. Think of how many questions that we as humans have about just planet Earth. Now imagine the very stuff that created the universe itself. Now think about how one would be able to gain the ability to stuff a piece of dark matter into ones pocket. That sounds like it would require some sort of mystical device to me. Don't you think?
Hey guys, does Pahimar even DO anything? Seriously when is pre2/pre1g officialy coming? Where is EMC in it? I saw it in the source code on Github. Where is the next release, I want to get EMC. WHY?! Seriously, add the config/emc adder with emc. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee. I want to get cobble gen without cobble gen(no work to get cobble).

He does more than enough.
Why haven't YOU taken the time to learn how to mod, run a full-time server while updating for developing mods, work a full time job, deliver "how-to" YouTube videos at the request of fans, and work on one of the most popular mods known to man?
When you have that on your plate, then you can ask that question.

I perfectly understnd his variety of responsibilities, but in all honesty, it is taking quite a while... But, i have faith that all this time is spent adding something that will make ee3 that much closer to a complete mod

Do you literally not see the over 700 commits of work pahimar and many others have put into the mod? If not, let me show you: https://github.com/p.../commits/master

I don't even know how to reply to this. Seriously, how ignorant can you get man? Just look at the commits that he's pushed out. Just updating to 1.5 is hard let alone achieving the high expectations that the modded community has for him. Give the guy a break, he works more than hard enough. Really man, just stop whining.
I come back to this board after a month or so to see how the whining has been going, and it appears the situation has not improved :/
Not in the slightest. It's not going to end until they get EE3, and then they'll complain about something in EE3, and then complain about a new version of Minecraft coming out and how Pahimar hasn't updated EE3 the moment the new version came out, etc., etc.
I am extremely grateful for this mod, though it is in early development.
I like the idea of no more loss-less exchange, but I think loosing 10% of the EMC when transmuting would be quite off the topic of EQUIVALENTE exchange. My idea is different tiers of condensers. (Or the similar version of it he said he would implement) A tier one would be very flawful, wasting 20% of EMC in the process of condensing and occasionally creating dirt though using as much EMC as the target item uses to be produced. A tier 2 would waste 10% of the EMC in the process and occasionally creating dirt (Though not nearly as much as the tier one). The Tier three would be the final. It produces flawlessly, but needs to be powered by any type of fuel to work, and produces very slowly.
The Tier 3 would also be immensely expensive, and should need a 4x4x4 cube of them to produce something

I kinda like that, but Tier 3-no, no, no. Once they get that, it's EE2 all over again.
And people who love tampering with builds: EE3 NOW CONTAINS JAR SIGNING!
I come back to this board after a month or so to see how the whining has been going, and it appears the situation has not improved :/
Unfortunately, it hasn't. Hopefully this will happen once pahimar updates the mod. There's not an incredible amount of textures in EE3(at least compared to other mods.) so it shouldn't take too too long, this is because the 1.5 update contains mainly changes to the way textures are stored. Therefore the less textures there are the easier it is to update a mod.
I am extremely grateful for this mod, though it is in early development.

So as I see it, the tier three should be a multiblock, but the first two should not? A fair enough idea in concept, but I think that having two single block structures and then a multiblock that does the same exact thing as the previous two versions seems a bit off to me.

When you have that on your plate, then you can ask that question.
Number 1:
I can mod, but its pretty bad.
Number 2:Too lazy
Number 3:Can't, too young
Number 4:I'm no bright person
Number 5:How would THAT HAPPEN?! First of all most known to MAN?! WHAT?! HOW????! Seriously I think you can't be genious enough to understand that once something takes over, it becomes dominant.
Alrighty then, someone readd emc then I will be happy. This mod is not as good as ee2 because ee2 actually had EMC, so someone go and fix the thing and add a config for custom emc, go ahead, finish the code.
Compile this thing and lets get this show on the road.

How is updating to 1.5 hard at all?! I made my mod in like 2 days.
Whoo, another person that disregards reading the last few pages. Nice to have another compiler with us, though
There's a link a few pages back.
I think he's referring to the last possible 1.4.7 version, not the pre1f release.
Someone beat me to it...

Hi. I'm I modpack developer. I am the creator of several unreleased packs, most notably "Asthenos" and "Astro".
You can find the beta post for Asthenos HERE
Go look at Github again. Bye~

Uhh, because this mod is much bigger? My god...
