Optifine B-series flickering water bug fixed. Also added an option in the config to use the old method that does not cause pop off lag from Optifine multi-core editions, caused by Optifine throttling my throttle. Update will be available shortly
No updates in a while, any reason why? Not needed?
Not needed, I haven't had any bug reports for well over a week, and no one has suggested anything either. So either the mod is working fine for everyone, or no one cares, either way, No updates have been needed.
Do you think you can make a non-Forge version of the mod? I don't like Forge because it never worked right even if I follow the installation instructions. Even with correct version.
Also, my mods require ModLoader. I know there's FML but not all of them works.
It seems I'm still having issues (damage displaying on connected LAN users)
I'll test it again with a clean install and let you know.
Yeah the issue is elsewhere I think, I have tested in every possible situation and it works for me. If you figure it out, let us know in case someone else gets the issue.
Is the Mod installed on yours, and your sons computer?
Doesn't work. Should I just put files to minecraft.jar or do smth else? I don't really want to watch installation video, you should put text instructions also.

... no.
You need to redownload minecraft now, You should really read instructions before trying and yelling it doesn't work. It wastes my time and yours.
Download forge, the link is in the OP. Delete the META-INF folder in the minecraft.jar, THEN drop in forge. Run minecraft, make sure it runs, then you will see a mods folder your minecraft directory. This is where you drop in the DamageIndicators zip. DONT unzip it, leave it zipped, just put it in the mods folder.
Now in all forge mods, you just have to add them to the mods folder, no hastle. Forge also works for most modloader mods.
Displays damage for server, but not connected clients while running LAN.
No luck, any ideas? Anything I can try on my end to give you more information?
EDIT: Same set of MODs on both computers.
I don't know, are you using any other base mods? My mod uses a registered packet channel, if it works in ANY game mode, it will work in them all, since the information ALWAYS first goes through the server regardless of gametype. In other words, it is impossible for this bug to be the fault of this mod.
Awesome!

Includes a fix to the update check so 'Unable to check for updates' doesn't trigger when a new update is available.

Strange, smp and ssp works, lan should too, ill do some tests tomorrow to see if I can find an issue.
What 15 mods? I can't see how this would be incompatible with anything, it is all forge api.
Tested on SSP SMP and LAN and confirmed working fine in 1.4.5.
A few other visual bugs fixed as well.
Remember, both server and client must be running the mod for it to work, both SMP and LAN.
