I am in agreeance with the person at the top of the page. The rewrite isn't reading the more enchantments mod. version 1.14.3 works just fine so im assuming its something missing in the rewrite
Question: I like(d) the repair feature. You mention it is removed in favor of other repair mods. Which mod or mods to you recommend to restore this function in a manner similar to what BE has done in the past?
Since a lot of people are not liking that I removed the transfer and repair functionality, I will be adding them back in. I dont know when that release will happen. I thought getting something out that at least enchanted and disenchanted would be enough for now. Granted I guess the wording was harsh.

A lot of the functionality was not implemented yet. I have been completely rewriting this. I figured you guys would want a working copy of the mod instead of fighting with the previous version.
the mod seems to break minecraft when i try using it.
it works in creative, but in survival when i place an enchanting table down (no bookcases), then put a sword into it and try changing the enchantment level minecraft freezes. it doesn't give any errors or crashes, it just freezes and gets stuck, has to be killed with task manager/multimc's kill minecraft button. the freeze happens right as the enchanting cost tries to go above 0.
putting even one bookcase reduces the crashiness, though with just 1 block it still tends to happen. possibly went over the limiter that small number of bookcases imposes.
once happened when for some reason two enchantment sliders started moving at once (i think this happens if you release your mouse button while outside the gui's bounds. the sliders will still move around and follow your mouse when you return to the gui, and won't stop until you hover over the enchantment that has this glitch happening).
number of bookcases indicator also shows too much. each bookcase block equals 2 for it, though considering how your total enchantment cost can't go above number of bookcases it might be intentional. maybe it could use some different naming then though, something like max enchanting power or such.
sometimes the cost and actual xp reducing don't match. either the enchanting doesn't factor bookcases into cost while showing how much it costs (while the enchanting itself does), or the level reducing is bugged. i once got 58 levels worth of enchanting in the table but it took only 18. i had 30 bookcases surrounding the table then (which gives 60 bookcases in the gui).
i take it compatibility with other mods' enchantments (like twilight forest's fiery aura) isn't implemented yet. when i put an item with this enchantment into the table, the enchantment was there, but was missing the slider. after i clicked it, the slider appeared but couldn't go above level 1 (this enchantment has 2 levels). after removing it it was permanently removed from the item.

Ahhh- I understand now. That was good thinking. Maybe write "WIP" and/or explain that more features are coming even if you said it in the last post just so people are less likely to have an adverse reaction. Sometimes I just look for version number changes and swap loaded zips (or jars). And I'm keeping an eye on so many mods it's hard to remember who's intending to do what.

attempting to enchant an item gives a null pointer exception now. the item, after being enchanted will spit out the same error as soon as it's put into the enchanting table. i'm guessing it happens if you put an enchanted item into the table.

Yeah I derped on a sanitation check. Uploading hotfix now.
one bug i can find right now is that if you resize the window while the gui's open, the sliders won't move to the correct place until you take the item out of the table or close and reopen it.
fiery aura now appears in the gui, so at least this part of the modded enchantments is back. can't comment on more enchantments mod yet since i don't have it.
edit: a worse bug, if you get killed, the enchanting table will stop working for you until you log out and back in.

If I set the disenchant factor to less than 1.0 [i.e. 0.5], I only get 1 level when disenchanting, even if I'm disenchanting multiple enchants [urgh, that's a lot of "enchant"]. Is this intended? I'm using the last 1.4.7 version, BTW.

Yeah fraction are bugged. It only accepts whole numbers for weird reasons.
I've got a problem with the latest version of Enchanting plus and Forge 608. When I load my current world, I get this message:

remove your enchanting table and replace it. this seems to happen to old worlds, the enchanting tables from the previous versions aren't compatible until you replace them i guess.
I am guessing because the block / tile entity was completely rewritten.
