You, and many others really need to start reading the change log. He added an extra cost to enchanting. The functionallity is still there, just, with extra costs. Typical TL;DR post.
You really need to start reading the post you're commenting on. I have gold nuggets, I've placed them everywhere, and I've also tried disabling the need for extra resources, which you'd know if you bothered to read before replying.
Short version of my post: This mod doesn't work for me. I've tried everything. Why not?
Reasonable reply: What does "everything" include?
Answer: Read the long version of my post.
Way to short-circuit those people saying "have you tried X?" where X is something I've tried: List lost of details for what I've tried in case somebody wants to be nice and help. You obviously don't want to help and didn't even read the post, so kindly refrain from commenting.
then proceed to place 1 gold nugget/emerald/diamond/ghast tear into the slot under the scroll bar.
Thank you. I hadn't noticed that there even was a slot under the scroll bar, because it's invisible (at least on my machine). All I saw were the two slots on the left.
Everything is fine. The mod works. It is all in the config. To get the "old" behavement, just set some flags to false.
This config sets the enchantment table to:
- need bookshelves (which I personally find is a good thing)
- doesn't need to unlock
- doesn't need extra resources

Please lemme know asap as this mod is amazing and i want to use it badly thanks!

EDIT EDIT: lol i tried the in game commands and none work so im still at a loss, a more in depth description would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
In your .minecraft folder (which I'm assuming you know how to find since you're using mods)
there's another folder called config. In there, you should find a file called eplus. Open that up and replace
everything inside with the info Konitor provided. Save and you're done! ^ ^

Version 1.14.4
-Completely rewrote from scratch
-Transfer and Repair have be removed in favor of other repair mods or anvil
-Sliders will not allow enchantments over what the player can afford
-Bookshelves limit how many levels you can enchant
-Configurations allow players to have completely different settings then server
Awesome mod! I can say this is a Level Mod and btw you should make an in-game config so that we do not have to go out of the game and then go back in to the game for the configs to update it. Awesome mod all in all.
Question: I like(d) the repair feature. You mention it is removed in favor of other repair mods. Which mod or mods to you recommend to restore this function in a manner similar to what BE has done in the past?
Thank you. I hadn't noticed that there even was a slot under the scroll bar, because it's invisible (at least on my machine). All I saw were the two slots on the left.
The previous reply was out of general rage of people. I sincerely apologize if I lumped you in to a group of morons who don't know how to read and/or type "WUT DU I DU" spam/troll posts, unfortunately, it's my nature on the internet.
In fact, I honestly did read the post and you received the response with the invisible slot. I'm pretty sure it was added in the first texture selection for the enchantment table but not the others, as it was appearing invisible to me as well on tex/skin 3.
*sigh* This is probably all moot now since there was an update released.
mssodin28, thank you for the update. Downloading now, as I speak.
I would really not like to add more mods to my 100+ mod server (when everything is updated to 1.5.1/1.5.x). It sucks that I have to stop using Enchanting Plus when I update to 1.5.1/1.5.x.

Why stop? I just suggested adding the dispenser for repair since I hate anvils. I think you can even make it less cheaty in the config. I do however agree the mod is not what it was. The config has definitely been slaughtered. And I think the bookshelf requirement is ridiculous and sad. I don't care about requiring them but I hate the wasted space. [Maybe they could reside in slots in a GUI instead of cramming my house???] Remember, they're just an arbitrary decision Jeb made while thinking more about his cat.
Since a lot of people are not liking that I removed the transfer and repair functionality, I will be adding them back in. I dont know when that release will happen. I thought getting something out that at least enchanted and disenchanted would be enough for now. Granted I guess the wording was harsh.
I understand dust, but I question how you're storing your diamonds that they get mold on them.
In all seriousness (and back on topic) I would rather use a mod that makes the anvil useful than complain about how the anvil sucks and use Enchanting+ repair. But that's just me.

Well, crap.
For Repair and more, you might try the Dispenser:http://www.minecraft...ntry-dispenser/

The worst thing @ the moment is the update doesn't recognize More Enchantments mod http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1357421-more-enchantments-mod/ But I guess that is a More Enchantments problem.
seriously? some of us have a ton of mods and don't want to add others. Don't suppose anyone can convince you do re-add this?
Agreed...
