trying to contact the developer of this mod will be difficult or near impossible, only possible by the slightest chance, that will be almost as difficult as when i attempted to call a human being on steam hoping for support, valve is far too busy with csgo scams to help good customers like me, the developer of this mod might respond but it will be difficult to get a response.
First off it's not my definition of rpg. It's what has been attempted by game devs but never fully sucessfull. I did see what thier ideas where though. This occurred for many reasons. Mostly because alot of what people use to call rpg was really an adventure game and the game devs will tell you that. What has been attempted are small indie devs that almost or completely failed to make a true rpg game.
Second off if you read what the older definition is and what it is not then that's the best way I could describe it the current evolved definition that has never fully implanted or done correctly and the people who are trying are indiesS that don't get the full concept. Since the definition changed the older games that came close technically rpg like skys of arcadia didn't fully implant it properly.
(not including the incident where microsoft removed half the mods from 1.7.10 and 1.8).
Do you have any sources on this? I lurk on on all sorts of modded Minecraft forums and server forums and have never heard of this, nor was it mentioned by anyone on those said forums.

i think hes talking about how 1.8 was not very mod friendly.
Nothing except for the fact that literally the number of pages that I wasn't on there decreased about 1/3 here alot in planet minecraft and optifine.net completely removing all of their versions temporarily until some issues where resolved with microsofts new Eula back then. Also that's why you can no longer find optifine in optifine.net below 1.7.2. Just go look for a mod in a modpack made in 2014 if at all possible look for the mod on the actual forum if it's not a popular mod and search it. I bet you it's either completely missing or the thread was marked as deleted and you cannot view the thread.
I wasn't the only one complaining about this when I went on the forums about early june about the mods missng. I am not sure what the modders responses were, especially since alot of them had stopped dev and or minecraft a long time ago.
I went to go looking for the realism mods like better foliage and several plant mods for a while it was wiped before being taken over/remade in some other persons forum. As for the plant mods I can't find them on curse, after the event, I can't find them anywhere almost. I think it might have been on 6 or 9 minecraft once after as well but, the actual forums and curse page is completly missing and everyone is silent about them. The plant mods were actually pretty popular.
I know this is unrleated but, planet minecraft deleted alot of thier mc beta mods. I remember in 2012 there were hundreds of them to thousands of them at least and You can verify this by doing the things I have said above or talking to other people. Not alot of the modders 1.6.4-1.7.10 were even developing the mods so you may have to do some digging around.
All I know is my realism mods I was looking for that were relatively unpopular but, were great are gone and I canceled that modpack along with 3 others due to the mods I had written down to check out I could no longer find. I canceled Ekims advanced rpg dev because, I didn't have enough ids to continue and forge refuses to use dynamic arrays instead using or expanding static vanilla arrays.
Hello! It seems we have reached the topics of addon for this mod. Anyone who checks this thread daily may remember me as a random guy spouting random ideas from page 2045. Anyway, I want to Share my ideas for addon with you all. Here they are:
Hardmode Dracyon
Instead of shooting icy projectiles, Dracyon now shoots bubbles. The thing is, when you're hit with these bubbles you can not attack or move. This is terrible as Dracyon's melee attacks now deal DOUBLE DAMAGE when you're in water (The bubble counts as water). Also, he can summon pillar of water at your feet and he heals when in contact with water. He is now immune to knockback as well.
Hardmode Vinocorne
The King of Plants now has one more minion. A white flower which buffs and heals the boss and minions. If you're far away, he can reel you in to him with a vine claw (deals 20 damage), meaning you can not use ranged attacks effectively. Also, he has thorns effect/Kror's recoil when you attack him. His attacks now causes weakness and slowness.
Hardmode C.R.E.E.P.
First and most importantly, he is healed by explosions. He can also summon creepers, shoot lightning, and cause an explosion at your feet. At half health, he will become charged, meaning lightning will now heal him and he now summons charged creepers. Remember, the Black Pixon projectile deals more damage the further you are.
Hardmode King Shroomus
This Mushroom now gravitates you (Again, thank you Blackghost) meaning now you will not be safe from his attacks. He can also shoot disarming spores which cause you to drop your weapon. Ranged attacks are recommended.
Structures and NPCs
A village in Greckon. Everybody in this village is creepy looking and you can not talk or trade to them. They just stare at you silently. In the heart of the village, there is a massive maze mansion. You could fight the second boss of Greckon here. After you kill the second boss, the curse will be lifted and now you can talk and trade with the villagers. Their special trade is Silenced Sword, which stays in your inventory even when you stare at a silencer.
A planetarium in Lunalus. You could fight the second boss of Lunalus here. Also, make it so Lunalus's sky have stars and the moons are farther to each other. The bottom could be void.
That is all i can think of. If any one of you want to make an addon based around my ideas, i'll allow it. Thank you for reading!

Addons for this mod are most likely now the only way to make this seem alive, until this mod finally updates or the developer finally responding for once, which probably will take ages, hopefully the addons will be installed like normal mods and not having to do tedious steps just to add them into the game, like it is for lucky block addons.
I think that
additions should add a tool (there are a lot of weapons, but there is
nothing to dig) and to facilitate the pumping of experience, to give the
opportunity to spend the escense stacks. (Googl translit)

You learn to code java which several people on this forum including me know. You try and get the aoa de-obfuscated SRC and then you code in the dev enviorment what you want by extending classes as that would be easier and more fitting then just making it stand alone mod and doing Gameregistry everything if it's only going to be for AoA you should make it a dependency.

On the subject of hardmode AI, I figured out what would work for the bosses i couldn't think of before.
Voxxulon: every 1/4 hp, he will spawn a Vile Hallucination (200 hp). These look like black shadowy transparent clones of Voxxulon, but they don't teleport. They do, however, increase the amount of meteors Voxxulon drops. But, the problem is if you kill one/let one die, they burst into a ton of toxic sludge that sticks to the floor, rapidly damaging and poisoning those who step in it. So, you can either deal with a very aggressive voxxulon, or have the arena very hard to walk in.
Bane: instead of clones, he spawns Shadows (20 hp) and Primed Shadows (40 hp). The shadows are like his normal clones, except black and they cant be damaged by any weapons. To damage them, you have to hit bane, causing all nearby shadows to take 5 damage. Primed Shadows are like mega banes, except, well, they cant be damaged by normal means. So, you have to get close to bane and his shadows to deal damage, lest you want them to overrun you.
Elusive: As Elusive's health lowers, he will slowly become more and more transparent, and at 1/5 hp is virtually invisible. Also, when hit he makes all his duplicates invisible alongside him.

For private modpacks you never need to ask and no one is going to stop you if you put this mod in a public modpack credit is nice.
