No offense... But I honestly hate noobs like you. I mean, 1) You OBVIOUSLY didn't bother to read even 2 posts behind your own and 2) You created an entire account just so that you could spam this topic with requests that have already mentioned at least 14 billion times before your post. Actually, I take that first part back. I DO mean to offend you, as you clearly don't even fell like reading two posts behind yours before spamming. Now tell me... What was going through your head when you posted that?
I love people who say "no offense" when they're going to be rude to someone.
They're like, "Ima gonna to be rude to you, but I'm going to say no offense so hopefully you aren't offended by my rudeness."
I also like how you said "You created an entire account just so that you could spam this topic..."
One post =/= spam. Sorry to break it to ya. If that person has made multiple posts in this thread, doing the same exact thing, then they're spamming.

Did you read the whole thing? She said she meant offense. Also spam isn't the right word, but they still are breaking forum rules.
can you make a end-game boss?
a boss that to summon him you need all the shard/fragment?
a boss that only if you have all the highlight gears you can fight him?

Yeah, he should be an Evil Dark Wizard with a super powerful Ring and his name should be Saur... Ooops wrong mod.
Yes, because making ONE single post is obviously spamming ... Oh what an audacity it is to make a single post. What a criminal he is, he must be stopped!
Exactly! I- Oh wait, you were being sarcastic weren't you?

Sigh... Just read the first part.
I changed the part said toword me to red.
1.I DID NOT create an account to "spam", as you call it, this topic. I've posted 61, this would make 62, posts.
2.I asked a reasonable question. I don't know if the creators of the mod would skip 1.5.2 and make the 1.6/1.6.1/1.6.2! I REALLY want this mod, and if the happens, well, I WOULDN'T have this mod.
Also, you spelled "feel" like "fell" in the middle of the 3rd line. FYI

I thought i should ignore this thread since i was quitting until this mod will be [1.5.2] or something, but....
Asking for UPDATE is against the rule, even you thought it is REASONABLE QUESTION.
And 1st line, He was replying to him and it wasn't for you, why are you being mad at it? it's like you are admitting you made account for just spamming for 62 times lol.
And 2nd line, YOU SIR, didn't even read 10 pages or didn't even use search section or something. it was discussed already, and they will not skip 1.5.2(unless they discontinue this mod, or decided to skip it because they're too lazy, whatever i don't care though)
Oh no, why don't they realize it's against the rule, please shut the !@#$ up and sit tight till it gets update like me.
whatever, I'm going to be read only again.. cya.
I find it mind-boggling that this mod became one of the fastest growing mods ever. I'm known to dislike the majority of the community revolved around the mapping and modding section of these forums. Words like entitlement or disrespect come to mind, but that's not what I came here to discuss.
Before anything, I'd like to put up a disclaimer that I'm reviewing the mod "as is", thus, statements like "it'll be fixed next release", or "it's planned", won't be valid, if, and when, you do happen to deploy said changes, I may or may not remove my statement. Another thing I'd like to point out is that I have, in fact, been in the development team for this mod, for about a week or so before I quit, for reasons most of the followers of this thread will most likely know. This does not influence my opinion at all, I joined the team to help and make the mod better, but only after I left is when I took a more critical analysis of it.
The first thing this mod promises is an outrageous amount of "content". Content being in commas because it's not actual content, it's bulk content. Let me put this in another way, you play a game, that game has hundreds of different items you can hoard, most of them are useless to your cause and possibly hard to attain. In the end of the day, there's content there, but do you really want to strive towards that content, when only ~5% of it is mildly worth it? The same issue plagues DivineRPG: if you browse trough NEI with the mod installed, you will, no doubt see an insane amount of items, but if you analyse each one, most of them are plain useless, bulk content.
This concept of "bulk content" generally creates the illusion, upon looking at NEI, that you will have lots of amazing stuff to do and items to hoard. When really, as I mentioned, in the end of the day, only ~5% of that is really useful. As this mod is extremely slow burning, this illusion causes an amazing first impression, that quickly fades away as the user really sees what's behind the curtain.
Next off, the grind, oh, the grind. What can actually be considered as "content" is a grind. The necessity of collecting dozens, if not hundreds of copies of the same item to construct the next piece of your gear, or the extremely bullet spongey enemies (!) that serve nothing but to waste time, Now, I'm pretty sure the grind would be a lot better if the tasks you had to undergo were actually mildly original, "dig up 100 ores" or "kill 300 ender watchers" is not very original or fun, at all, but sadly, required to progress (the ores one of course, getting the ender blade is optional).
To finalize my major issues with this, I have to question the ultimate goal, what is it? You might argue that minecraft has no real ultimate goal to speak of, and, yeah, that's true, but this makes it even more abstract, by introducing 5 different dimensions with barely any change of pace, design or mechanics, the mod creates bulk content. Take this as an example: you're playing a game about hunting creatures, assuming each creature you kill has a 100% chance of dropping it's type of leather and it takes on average, 1 minute to kill a creature, if your quest is to kill 5 of them, it will take you 5 minutes to complete the quest, and you had to repeat the same task 5 times, a few, already, but not enough for the quest to outstay it's welcome. Now, imagine, that instead of 5 kills, you would need 50. The creator of the game effectively extended the gameplay time by 45 minutes, and created 45 minutes of bulk content. It's the same thing, just done more and more times.
This is the issue with DivineRPG, you traverse trough dravite, azurite, uvite, mytrhil and augite with barely any change or innovation other than a change in the color palette, a slight of a change in generation (from uvite to mytril/augite) and an increase of the spongeness of bullet spongey enemies. It's the same thing over and over again, with different coats of paint. This conglomerate of grindy content creates an extremely long gameplay experience, but not very interesting in it's core.
Furthermore, I'd like to discuss the mod's name, "DivineRPG", it implies that the mod's an RPG. Now, I don't know how you classify an RPG, but for me, this is not one. It lacks a proper story, you don't play as any character whatsoever, there's barely any character progression, there's linear item progression and that's about it. So... why the name "DivineRPG"?
Diverging a bit from the main topic, I'd like to throw the question, that I put at the first paragraph of this post, of how a mod with these blatant flaws managed to become so popular? Well, I have a fairly basic theory, one that I've been defending myself for quite a while now: The success of a mod is purely dependant by the feelings of important people towards it, not by it's quality. You may just assume I'm crazy, but if you actually take a proper analysis of the popularity of somemods that really lack any decent gameplay or features, you'll quickly come to the conclusion that they are only on top of their high horses because, for example, some important youtuber decided to showcase and/or play with the mod. It doesn't matter how good the mod is, the blind fanboys of those people will do whatever their bidding desires, and play the mod, it's a fact, I'm sorry, it is.
The only obvious explanation I can conjure for this mod to be so popular is that Capt. Sparklez played it, and let's be frank here, does anyone doubt me? This, of course, leads to some interesting issues. He, at the time of me writing this, racks up 4.7m subscribers. That's a lot of people. A lot of people that came play this mod, and a lot of people that would kill to play this mod, just to be like sparklez. (Obvious exaggeration there, but I assume you get my point). That's what this mod does good, it's streaming/LP content, an LP needs something to play. It doesn't matter how good the game is, people watch the LP for the personality behind it, and a LP that extends for long is great, DivineRPG just goes on and on and on and on.
Now by all means, what I said is my purely my opinion, but I guess I should manifest it, because I just find it insane that people bother to cope with the amount of BS thrown around by the current team just so they can play this mod.
TL;DR: In my opinion, DivineRPG is not as good as it seems, it's super overrated, and it's content is an illusion. Now go read the post.
There are problems with this mod. And let me talk about your post before putting anything you missed.
The so called "Bulk content" is crazy. There is so much stuff that in the end, all it does is make you work for nothing. When I play this mod, all I to do is kill the bosses. I don't even pay attention to the "Bulk Content". The extra content may have been made so that people who like different things can enjoy the mod. People who like weapons get tons of weapons. People who like making fancy builds, think of all the new blocks that this adds. People (Like me) who want Minecraft to feel more alive by adding more mods, there you go.
But yes, it adds a lot. It adds so much that you start to forget what Minecraft is at it's core. I think this mod would be better if it was like Project Zulu, where you download it in sections. Here are some supposed sections:
Core :Adds all the dimensions, ores, the basic swords (Rupee sword, Dravite Sword, exc.), and also adds all the mobs that you need to get to the dimensions.
Mob: Adds all the creatures that you don't need to kill to get to the Vethean.
Weapon: Adds all the weapons that aren't in core.
Blocks: Adds all the other blocks not in core.
Other: Adds anything I missed.
These are some ideas to make DivineRPG better, but this is just my opinion.
Now to get to my major complaint. DivineRPG is to HARD!!! When I say this I mean that it adds creatures that you will meet on your first day that can 1 hit kill you, and there is no way to stop them from spawning. Yes this is supposed to be a hardcore mod, but fighting a cyclops before you even have an iron sword is just crazy. I think that it should be made a little bit easier, bring the creatures hp down a little, make them less common, make them spawn ONLY in the dark.
These are my concerns about DivineRPG and if you think I'm wrong, remember, this is only an opinion.
GO DIVINERPG!!!
P.S. I made a lot of mistakes, but this is a big post and I'm lazy, so if you see anything I won't be mad if you point it out.
@vazkii I agree about 75%, the only real thing I have to dissagree with is the fact that people play just because captain sparkelz. I did start using it due to him, but I found it enjoyable so I continued using it.
That is all.

This has been a long running joke on the DivineRPG forum. Started by Hologuard. So if anything Holiguard won the Internet. Just sayin'
