Woot, finally I can have more than the normal bed in my world! Time to get me a firey lava bed! Thanks for all your hard work and giving us finally more than one bed!
How do I turn off the UpdateManager that came with this mod? Everything has been working fine then today my server won't start. I keep getting this crash report:
---- Minecraft Crash Report ----

A detailed walkthrough of the error, its code path and all known details is as follows:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I take your beds mod out of the line-up loads fine, put your mod back in....crash.
I am not 100% it is updatemanager causing the problem, but as I said, if I take your mod out everything works, plus I keep seeing references to updatemanager in the crash report (though I must admit I do not know how to read them)
I saw your notice about deleting the "updatemanager" folder in your zip file, but when I tried that, I got a whole new set of errors.
All mods and files are current versions (I believe) at the time of writing this.
I love your mod and would like to continue to use it, so maybe you can make sense of the crash report, and have an idea how to resolve this.
I am also having the same issue, its has to be with the update manager, if i disable my internet connection then load minecraft with your mod it works. with internet enabled tho it crashes, need a way to disable. i run a server with some friends and i wouldn't like the messages about updating cuz i do that on a monthly basis.
Yeap same for me. I tried everything, even adding mod updater in, but the mod keeps crashing, giving me the same error all the time no matter what I tried. And I wanted to use some new beds =p
Yeah funny thing is, nothing has changed since it was working (in reference to my server). Working fine yesterday and today crash. I have made no changes.
I am so glad someone else is having the same problem. I was losing my mind wondering what is going on. Hopefully it is a simple fix.
Sorry for the issue The server where my website is hosted crashed, so Updater Manager was getting a null pointer trying to connect to my website to get the latest version.
Everything should be ok now.
I'm currently doing a new website on another host to prevent something like this to happen again.
Plus, i will work on a way to provide more thank 1 link to the updater manager, and a setting in the config file to disable the updater manager checking for who doesn't want it
Again, sorry for the inconvenience and have fun with my mod ^^

Thanks a lot for fixing it! Woot, I can have my lava bed! I was wondering though, in case something like this happens again, can;t you make it so the mod recognizes that it can;t connect and act as if we would be offline? Or you meant you will do that?

No worries. glad it was temporary. If I might make a suggestion though. Maybe an option in the config file to turn off updatemanager in case something like this happens in the future, and/or add something in your OP or README file that lets us, the users of your wonderful mod, know that if we have these issue, errors or crashes that it might be the same problem you ran into this time with your server. It might save some confusion and grief. And, so we don't pull out all our hair trying to figure out what has happened and have to spam you with crash issues.
Glad to have the pretty beds back.
edit: I just re-read your reply. Ignore the config part's of my suggestion.

I was sure that Updater Manager will do that in his own, but i was wrong
Updater Manager disable itself if there isn't an internet connection, but if there is an internet connection, but the link is down, it just drop that error.
Actually, i'm moving the version check to dropbox, so the downtime of the server will be really really shorter.

In the next version, there will be surely an option in the config file to disable the version checking
And, moving the version check to dropbox, something like this will never happen again... i hope ^^
Thanks for creating and sharing this mod. It makes a nice addition to the game that seems quite natural.
Even though it showed no conflicts, the mod did not initially work with Pam's Harvestcraft mods installed. They shared the same item IDs and Forge did not handle them correctly. For example, trying to craft a utility bed ended up making raisin cookies at one point. I shifted all the IDs to 15920+ and it worked after that.
EDIT: One recommendation...let any colored bed be crafted into a monster bed instead of just the white beds.
EDIT #2: I consolidated some of your images for my collection...thought I'd share in case you wanted to use them.

I'm glad that you like my mod For the suggestion, i'll probably do that ^^
Thank you for your support and for the images, that i'll surely add to the OP
It's not really copying... the coloured beds are something that many people thought about it... just search for "beds" in the suggestion section of the forum and look how many asks for coloured beds.
I really like this mod! Especially the hidden bed chest (it's where I keep my pajamas ^^~). Might I suggest a way to incorporate lapis lazuli into a bed type?
Thank you for your support

Sure
But, if you wait until tomorrow, i will release version 3.0.2 with some bugfix
Changelog:
V3.0.2
- Various bugfix
- Added an option in the config file to disable the checking for updates
I intend to be sneaky and swap in a bunch of my favorite HD bed textures to match my texture pack
Thanks for the awesome mod! I'll be adding it on when I switch over to my new computer.
Edit: Just had a thought, can a traditional bed still be crafted by removing the feather in the first crafting recipe?
Awesome Possum! Good work! Loving this mod.
Thank you, and sure, the traditional bed can still be crafting with the usual recipe
Thank you
Actually the priority is the new bed model.
After it, i will look at some other features
Thanks for the suggestion btw
LOL right! (there is plenty of room in this world for two bed mods)
+ yours is better anyway.

Right
Thank you
Thank you xD
