Wish me luck .
Good luck Gwafu, hope you get it working.
I like this mod, it adds some unique to minecraft, what was missing a long time.
Also the "child friendly" version of this mod was a really nice idea. (we don't use it but it is really nice)
Shortly - the entire mod is great!
I'm about to start with the german translation, when the new version is out.
looking cool on the models, also glad to hear about the bamboo being fine with BoP, i was skeptical about biomes of plenty but i'm starting to love it as i explore our new 1.6.2 world
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
24 hours gone again, wasted in futility, welcome to minecraft modding, that is (unfortunately) our community.
(an ode to minecraft modding)
i keep making the same mistake, i think "oh, i've given them a few months, surely it'll be fixed by now" THAT is why i seem to ALWAYS be angry to some of you, my advice is to get the lead out.
there were nice things here, until the mod author threw a tantrum.
An annoying thing with the Water Lilies Forestry integration:
Bees spawn water lilies on dry ground and ( the water lilies appear to overwrite other mods integrations.
With Highlands mod (+ Forestry) only I get highlands flowers being spawned by Forestry's bees - with Growthcraft I only get vanilla flowers - and lilies - spawning near my hives Oops. My Growthcraft test build didn't have the Forestry config to spawn Highlands flowers.
Do your plants (besides farmland crops) spawn in Highlands biomes? Like say bamboo in rainforests, or water lilies in Bogs? Or can they be made to in the config?
How high can grapes be made to grow before reaching a trellis? How far can trellis growth go? Or is it infinite?
Can I install the Apple and Grape mods without Cellar if I don't plan to brew anything? (I do plan to, but I'd still like to know.)
Can I change the Bamboo's rhizome spawning radius? Could you make bamboo stalks usable as tool handles? As other stick uses? Can I put the wood back down, placed-foliage style, for decoration? If I did, would ones that were touching the ground start putting out shoots?
You want a farm, you grab a hoe. You want a boat, you grab some wood. You want a fireplace, you grab A FLAMING HELL-BOULDER BECAUSE THAT'S HOW MINECRAFTERS ROLL!!!
I'm getting this weird crash with Hunger overhaul when I browse through the creative inventory tabs
sorry if its obvious, but I can't decipher this crash

Hi Gwafu...I noticed that there hasn't been any new updates for a couple of weeks. I hope all is well, and it's just disinterest/lack of motivation that's keeping you away...nothing serious.
I was wondering if you were open to anyone creating an addon-module that would (hopefully) fit with Growthcraft. I have been thinking about learning how to mod Minecraft and thought adding a little something to an existing mod like yours would be a good place to start.
For months my console has been spammed with "[INFO] false" and "[INFO] true", and I thought I'd narrowed it down to MFR, but there was no sign of a source in, well, its source, so I've just spent a few hours going through all the mods again trying to find the culprit and it was GrowthCraft! I checked Gwafu's posts, saw this file, tried it, IT FIXED IT. OH GOD. FINALLY.
I've been developing the mod but I haven't got the time to post stuff here in this thread. I've done the fruit press, brew barrel, new brewing method (brewing ale and sake will have different brewing process.). I was gonna start the Wine/Booze Rack.
My working laptop ran into a problem. Hardware problem. The first diagnosis of the comp techs was a hard drive failure. That's a high chance that I'll lost everything.
If that will be the case, I might quit modding for a time. I've spent a lot of effort with it, even with low motivation (yes, stuff can quickly remove your motivation) so I think this may be a good cue. I'm sorry about this.
PS. By "quit modding for a time", I mean that I might return, hoho.
PSS. I may try upload a document containing every plans I have for this mod if someone out there might want to continue this (yes, from partial-scratch).
PSSS. There's also a chance that it is not a hard drive problem. It's just a diagnosis.

OMG, sorry to hear it . I hope you get over it, when time comes, But i'm still on 1.5.2 So no problem for my right now =P! thanks for the amazing mod.
Oh wow, I am so sorry to hear that. I can understand why you might drop things if all work is destroyed. I really hope it doesn't come to that, though. D:
Don't forget to remind the techs you need to recover data from it. Some places I've gone to fix your computer by wiping it and re-imaging it.
[Scott]: Things I have managed to get in the last five minutes, in order of ascending importance: cobblestone, planks, lapis lazuli, redstone, gold, coal, diamond. VERY LOST.
Wow, I really hope you haven't lost everything. If I lost my minecraft world that I've been working two years on... I dont even want to think about that. This is an awesome minecraft mod, one of my favorites and being used in before mentioned world good luck!
Of course, and let's not forget cider, the basement will be filled to the brim with brew barrels.
Good luck Gwafu, hope you get it working.

Shortly - the entire mod is great!
I'm about to start with the german translation, when the new version is out.
Finalized design for the Fruit Press. The bin and the pressing mechanism is separated again in to two blocks. Completely functioning.
Finalized design for the Brew Kettle (replacement for Cauldron, so I can have my own GUI for it). Kind of wonky at the time >_>.
To-do:
More redbull pls.
Check out my mods! :-)
Yes.

I was wondering if you were open to anyone creating an addon-module that would (hopefully) fit with Growthcraft. I have been thinking about learning how to mod Minecraft and thought adding a little something to an existing mod like yours would be a good place to start.
THIS. RIGHT HERE! SWEET JESUS.
PSSSS. SSSSSS
Check out my mods! :-)
OMG, sorry to hear it . I hope you get over it, when time comes, But i'm still on 1.5.2 So no problem for my right now =P! thanks for the amazing mod.
Don't forget to remind the techs you need to recover data from it. Some places I've gone to fix your computer by wiping it and re-imaging it.
