Back Tools for Minecraft 1.4.2
... Modders: Yeah I didn't forget about you guys
If your mod has tools that aren't supported by this mod you may add it to the mod yourself via:-
net.minecraft.src.mod_BackTools.addBackItem(Class cls, int orientation, boolean flipped);
net.minecraft.src.mod_BackTools.addBackItem(int itemID, int orientation, int[] meta, boolean flipped);
class is the class the item is an instance of. orientation values, 0 - 3 (rotation counterclockwise by 90F * orientation). set meta to null if not meta specific. set flipped to true for vertical flipping of the texture.
Or... you could tell me the info required and I could add it on my end. (if itemID, please tell me the class and field instead)
Is there any reason why this couldn't have been done with an external configuration file?
think you could add the tools from the simple ores and netherrocks mod? just a few basic tools from new ores
Could you please check that they weren't already supported? The tools in those mods already extend the basic vanilla tools which were already supported.
I just don't see how it needs modloader if it's a cosmetic mod...
1. It makes it more compatible
2. Modloader still provides the basics for registering renders to entities.
3. Compatibility.
4. Compatibility.
5. Compatibility.

If you're going to PM me, please read this first...
This is a really cool asthetics mod, but because it's not compatible with smart moving, I don't see it being as good as it could be.
You think there is some way to make it compatible? Or perhaps you and divisor could work together, and combine smart moving and this together... THAT! would be an awesome mod!
Hi, me and 2 other people are working on a modpack called "Mc Total Conversion Modpack" (Note: We might remove "Total Conversion" if people start thinking that it is a mod), and we were wondering if you could grant us permission to include backtools and redistribute it. We won't be making use of any redirection or URL shortening to gain money, as we know how that bugs mod authors. We will be posting a credits section of the forum post (And website if this project goes well) with the names of all mods and authors with direct links to they forum posts and/or websites. Thanks for reading.
This modpack has a huge chance of ending up on FTB launcher, we just need to get the permissions from the remaining mod authors.

Ok, so i was thinking and wouldn't the tools have upside down images when they're on your back. I mean on the axe picture in the first post if you reach back to grab an axe over your shoulder wouldn't you grab the handle not the axehead? just a thought.

And he doesn't reply here either.. .Great...
Couldn't make more sense.

You clearly have never seen the right way of putting axes/pickaxes, etc on your back.
Example:
Didn't I fix this already? What MC version is this?
The latest.. 1.4.4
hope that worked
pffft >_>
Well if you uhh want it that way you can adjust it in the config or something? lol imo the head up still makes more sense.
I'll try look into this. Any.. patcher you using for this? Hang on do you even have forge installed?
I have modloader and optifine..
Except the shears, they are just stupid and way to big on your back.
But good job
Not updating at all!
I'm also on Minecraft PE! (Nexus 7, Xperia Play and iPod 4 owner)
