Do not be surprised - my English is Google translate. I never play Minecraft without these mods:
ExtraBiomesXl, Industrial Craft, Build Craft, LCTrees++, Metallurgy, Railcraft, Smart Moving, Forestry, Jammy Furniture Mod, Kaevator Super Slopes, Xtra Blocks, ReiMinimap, CraftGuide.
It's pretty obvious actually - higher number means better chance of that biome spawning... Lower number means it'll be much more rare.
My turn for a question: How do you get the big firs? (I've tried 3x3; a 3x3 + pattern.... I can't figure it out).
Thx, maybe its pretty obvious when english know is good =)

Quick question: Does the Promise Land exist in version Recommended-1.6.4 1.2.1.416? I just found on a wiki that it was removed in 717, but is that before or after the version I have?
- It is compatible with Highlands worlds out of the box (as long as you allow it the HL config file) but I suggest waiting for the next version of Highlands as currently the BoP underwater ocean biomes are not spawning there and HL specific Ocean biomes will be removed in the next build.
- You can also use the Climate Control mod to have both mods working normally in a normal world this time.
- Extrabiomes XL doesn't have a 1.7.10 version. When it will be, and unless something weird happen, it shall be compatible using the two methods above (thought biomes ID may become an issue).
- As far as I know, ATG, while it's supposed to work in 1.7.10 (not for me thought), can't make use of BoP biomes for the moment.

I am running a minecraft server for a month now, and I still have some difficulties to understand the errors messages.
So I installed biomes O plenty, it used to work fine (great mod by the way), but recently I've got some issues I can't deal with. I guess it have something to do with bukkit's last update but can you please confirm it ?

Can anyone help me out by telling me what biome/sub-biome is it that spawns the nether creatures in the overworld? Or is this even suppose to happen? I tested out disabling the biomes I assumed was the one, but they are still spawning.
Plant a willow sapling by my lake, and pretty soon it grows into a beautiful willow tree.
Then it apparently catches mange, because all the trailing leaves fall off within half a minute. So much for a beautiful willow tree.
From this I got to wondering: Could you perhaps change the trailing items to be something other than tree foliage - perhaps something like sugarcane, only growing downwards? Break the foliage they're attached to and they break, but they don't decay like normal foliage and therefore maintain the look of the tree without messing around with Minecraft physics.
I do so love your mod. The world is so much more interesting now, just to travel around. Only thing I wish is that there were a set of config files I could download that would play with the biome ratios to make worlds that are this or that - like an ice world with mostly ice and snow biomes and some taigas, or an up-and-down world with tons of mountains and canyons, or a hot, humid world with rainforests and such, a world that mimics the landscape in certain IRL areas (such as a set of biomes that go with the Mesa biome, so it seems like we're in... what is that, central or south America, or Arizona or something?), a world that's mostly dry and desert areas with some scrublands and very occasional areas that break this inhospitable landscape.
Well, that and some sort of patch between you and HarvestCraft to make it so her trees and gardens don't grow en masse in areas they really don't belong. I've got tropical fruit growing in shrubland, how is that right?

My YouTube channel is currently on hiatus, but I hope to get back to it at some point. Content is fairly random, but can be enjoyable, and is mostly game footage (mostly random Minecraft clips) from my nephews and me. Most popular MC vid so far is the one Vechs laughed at on Twitter!
I see that biomes o plenty changes vanilla biomes a little bit, is there any way to change that?
There's a setting in the config to have BoP replace the default biomes. I believe if you change the settings in "biomegen", near the end, where it says "vanilla biomes to override", it'll prevent BoP items from being added to vanilla biomes.
This is just a guess, though, since I actually kinda like the tweaks.
Pls I need hep downloading it for 1.6.4. Pls help me figure it out

Do you have two versions of BoP in your mods folder?
Geographicraft (formerly Climate Control) - Control climate, ocean, and land sizes; stop chunk walls; put modded biomes into Default worlds, and more!
RTG plus - All the beautiful terrain of RTG, plus varied and beautiful trees and forests.

I am running a minecraft server for a month now, and I still have some difficulties to understand the errors messages.
So I installed biomes O plenty, it used to work fine (great mod by the way), but recently I've got some issues I can't deal with. I guess it have something to do with bukkit's last update but can you please confirm it ?

Can anyone help me out by telling me what biome/sub-biome is it that spawns the nether creatures in the overworld? Or is this even suppose to happen? I tested out disabling the biomes I assumed was the one, but they are still spawning.
Putting the CENDENT back in transcendent!
