I wanted to let you guys know about a bug in FML that has had us running around in circles for a few days...and maybe prevent a similar time waster over here.
Note, this will manifest itself for your FML users, but not for your ModLoader users. Here's the bug.
I was sad to see the add-on for extra biomes go away so it's so cool that you're putting this out. I can appreciate that you've tried to make cool realistic/fantasy biomes. Awesome job.
Personally, I would love to see:
1. Tropical beach - with large areas of sand, palm trees and shallow inland pools of water.
2. Epic mountain overhangs - A mountain biome that takes advantage of the 256 height limit and has epic overhangs.
3. Floating Islands - Like skylands except over the ocean.
4. Ravine biome - I love it whenever I come across a ravine. How cool would it be to have a biome filled with multiple criss-crossing ravines?
I hope you'll reconsider making this mod more compatible with other mods. It would increase the amount of users of the mod. I don't think I could play without the Technic pack and I'd love to install this alongside it.
I'm finding an issue where chunks just stop loading, even after restarting MC. It also resets me back to the spawn of the map every time I reload too. Running ML, TMI, this mod and Optifine (in that order)
Yeah, it's a common bug. I'm working on fixing it for today's update, although I'm not even sure what's causing it.
As suggested already, maybe a sky island biome that spawns over oceans?
And perhaps a city biome? Basically spawns altered villages with stone roads, halfslab sidewalks, large skyscrapers, and so on? Maybe with a counterpart called a ruined city, where the sky is reddish, it uses dried dirt where dirt would be, the buildings and roads are wrecked, and so on?
No, sorry. I'm not doing multiple versions of the mod. Just one version for the current, official version of Minecraft, so no past versions or snapshots.
My god YES. If it's compatible with my other mods (Timber, SPC, TMI) I will DEFINITELY be getting this mod and I -will- send you videos. Love love LOVE mods that add new biomes, especially ones I haven't seen before.

Also just noticed that in the Cherry Blossom Grove biome, the leaves just start dying out. Is this the wrong place by the way, would you prefer if I mention errors / faults in PM? Cheers
Yeah, it's just because the trees are so big. It's just a regular "Big tree" that appears in forest biomes and stuff. Can't really control that without changing some vanilla code.
And no, you can post bugs and stuff here. I'd prefer it here than in PMs actually.
I put in the updated version, and the dropoff glitch only happened to me once, as opposed to reliably every time. If you can directly identify what is making it do that, that would be awesome and make your beautiful mod completely perfect!
Ah ****, something happened with the opening post while I was editing it. If anyone sees it before I fix it, don't worry about posting about it, cause I'm fixing it now.
Alright, from what people have been saying, I'm pretty sure chunks not loading and whatnot is realllllly bad lag. I noticed around when it happens, it'll say in the console that the server is overloaded and can't keep up. During that time, any blocks broken won't drop anything, mobs won't move, etc. I'm not really sure how to solve this, as it's not an actual thing I can fix.
As for the world creation freezing on Building Terrain, it's happened to me before quite a few times, and like the other problem, it's not an actual error. It just hangs, and I don't know what causes it. It's not a specific biome, as it worked fine when I went through each biome to get screenshots.
Also, the opening post has been fixed up, and redone completely. Let me know if there's anything I missed, or anything else I should address.
Where can we suggest biomes? I have a few realistic ideas, but when 1.4 comes out, apparently the world generation supports generating the world above y 256. And it would be better then.
