Hello!
I decided to start creating modes and now created a simple mod for Minecraft 1.4.5.
This mod just displays the time in the upper left corner.
You can change a state of clock - 1:38 pm - 13:38 - off. [default key - L]
Use F12 to open GUI screen and arrows for change clock's position.
Press V to set up alarm clock!
WARNING!!
If the clock is disappeared after resizing the window, use the up and left. clock can go out of the window. (no bottom and right borders)
It's nice to see a simple mod like this once in a while.
==Edit==
After using this mod, I've found that it works exactly as expected. It shows the local computer's time, it isn't distracting at all despite always being present, and saves having to exit fullscreen to check the time. Good work!
I've never seen a clock mod for Minecraft, and searching for one has never crossed my mind given the array of mods that the forum is full of; so, I imagine there must be quite a few clock mods, but this one is delightfully simple. I applaud your efforts at making a mod, and this was a very good start.
However, I have two suggestions: the first is to hide or move the clock when the debug screen is opened, because the text overlaps; the second is to make the clock toggable, which isn't necessary or important, but would be a nice feature.
Otherwise, this is an excellent starter mod, and I will enjoy using it. Thank you very much for making it!
Thank you! =)
I want to add a key to change state of clock - 1:38 pm - 13:38 - off.
I registered the key, but I have a problem described here - link.
I'll try to make it possible to move the clock.
You're welcome!
Toggling between 12/24-hour and off works perfectly, and being able to move the clock freely about the screen is just awesome. Great work!
The problem with the 'Done' button getting in the way of the others is something I've seen with most mods that add keybinding controls to the menu; I think the solution lies in moving the 'Done' button itself, but I'm no modder, so it's just an idea.
I hope that next time I can make something more useful =)
You have no idea how useful something so simple can be do you? I like to play in between classes and will often lose track of time, because of your mod I wasn't late all day best mod on the forum in my opinion
Matt, I want to do something to move the button, but I have no ready-made solutions. All I can suggest - use this mod -> http://www.minecraft...loader-for-132/
Yeah, I was looking at that mod, too, so I'll give it a try.
I'm inspired to learn how to mod now, haha. Better get to learning, I guess.

Mod loader has problems if I try to use your mod. Doesn't matter if I use magic launcher, or use mcpatcher to avoid conflicts with mods, RealTime being present always causes it to crash. I've tried with a clean jar and just modloader, and then modloader and realtime, yet it is still crashing. I like your realtime mod and would like to use it, do you have any clue to the problem?
Edit: Ah, ok it appears I didn't read the changelog close enough, I had some other browser tabs open for different mod topics, and I was a little tired when I was lurking the forums when I chose to download this. I'll just wait for an update then.

This mod by the looks of it is for Minecraft versions 1.3 not 1.4, so of course it would crash. And next time use spoiler tags. Do it like this (spoiler) text (/spoiler) except use these [ ] instead of ( ) when doing it
