Welcome to the first release of Slappy McCracken's Aquatic Life Expanded, we hope you like what you see. As there's waaaaay more in this thing than what shows up in the video. What exactly? Well, you'll have to explore to find out! Post videos and screenshots of your discoveries!

This first release is largely untested on any configuration but our own, but it's confirmed working with a clean 1.25 installation + modloader. Tested compatible with Optifine (recommended for everyone, even if you don't use our mod), the water shader mod (looks fantastic, in my opinion), Better Than Wolves and SPC. Let us know about any bugs you run across, keep in mind I'm still working on their behavior, so this isn't the "final" in terms of everything that's going on. The filter is in the game, but only available via command line (SPC) or spawn eggs. There is currently no way to move the fish, but if you are in creative mode you can give yourself the spawn eggs for them.
The mobs were designed with the Summer Fields texture pack in mind, as that is the only pack DJ uses now. We cover the ocean, rivers, and various other bodies of water in addition to having animated land plants and even a frog (a damn fine one if I do say so).To install, simply copy the files into your minecraft.jar or copy the zip to your /mods/ folder.
If you don't like the way the spawn, they spawn too much for your system to handle, or you would otherwise like to customize spawns in Minecraft (on a per-world basis, including mobs added by mods), check out Davidee's Mob Spawn Controls - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Don't ask for custom controls in the mod, you will be ignored.
We claim no responsibility for jacked up jars or ruined worlds, there should be no such issues but always make backups of anything you are unwilling to lose before installing a new mod. Also, this can be fairly intense, so try turning down the draw distance or install Optifine if you're having issues. We hope you enjoy it.

*clears throat* yeah, so just make sure the body shape is the same. No cane toads or pacmans.
yep we had a bajillion requests for 1.2.5 first. 1.3.2 will come later
- Moved to OP -
Edit - Also, when I went to recompile with 1.32 I got a few hundred recompile errors, fixed them, but the game black screened, so I'll need some time to get that worked out.
You guys are working really hard on this, I'm glad you got it out and now you can have a nice relaxing break!
Adding this much content to the place where it is especially lacking is a great effort, the ocean and water in general.
Good job!
I think the hope is that if it is 1.3.2 compatible it may be compatible with 1.3.1
it happens sometimes
We're working on a way to move them!
I have a new account called "Mushroomsock" now, so please do not send me PMs.
