I missed the update of this mod. But... just because it's better late than never...

OnceInALongTime: "You confuse me, Mage. Amazability should be a word so I could describe your words."
So all you need to do now, Ivorius, is to create a 'time control' mod which lets you slow time down or speed it up. And it affects everything but you.
That would be cool. 'FREEZE TIME!!!' And the arrow you just shot at the skeleton would suddenly stop...
Well, not completely. It should only slow time down to a maximum of about 200 times slower than normal. And only up to 40 times faster than normal.
But still... epic.

There is already a mod for that. The time control mod does pretty much the same, although it's stuck in 1.2.5. That's probably because it's not really implementable for multiplayer, and since 1.3 was the "all mods are now multiplayer" - update, it's likely they won't update it. I mean, wouldn't you rage if your game suddenly went in slow motion, because some other player used their damn remote?
I just found the problem! Apparently the modloaders most recent "old" version stops at 1.2.4. It says 1.2.5 in the old versions but that was Alpha 1.2.5. *Facedesk*
So Ivorius, You are planning to update this? If you did, it might just become one of Those Popular Mods that everyone thinks of when rebuilding their Minecraft. Right up there with Modloader and Forge!

Yes, maybe. This mod is far more complex than those two though, since it actually provides gameplay changes. I know Forge has many hooks as well, but GravityCraft has at least 5 times as much - if you'd count it as "hooks". That's also why it takes so long to update x)

Definitely more complex. When I saw the upside down entities I was blown away by the thought of the staggering amount of work you must have had to put into that. Then I saw sideways, gravity switches, multiple layers of world, and I literally ran out of my room, sat on the couch and started hyperventalating at the possibilities.
And I really don't care how long it takes, I just want to be assured like a puppy that you are working on it.

Is it possible that you could update/release MineUp separately? While I'm very interested in GravityCraft, it would be nice to have the worldgen available so that I can remake my world sooner rather than later.
Thank you for continuing to work on these mods. They seem very complex, and it must be difficult.

No, unfortunately. The hooks of both parts of the mod overlap in many places, so when I start updating one, it would actually be more work to separate them than to just update them

Well, I have to confess I'm not really actively working on it at the moment. I can't devote enough time to it to update it in time for any version, until Mojang simply comes out with a new one. I will someday, though x)

I just figued this out too.
If there's no ModLoader download available for 1.2.5, are we pretty much hooped if we want to play MineUp? I've heard that Forge is supposed to be ModLoader backwards-compatible; could we install Forge for 1.2.5 instead?
EDIT: Looks like "no". It gets the black screen with Forge for 1.2.5.
Anyone have a reputable link to ModLoader 1.2.5? There are lots of hits in Google, but they all go to links that insist on installing junkware "download managers" in order to download the files. Skeezy sites don't give me any confidence that the jar itself won't contain malware.
Me neither

Aren't you a bit young to be playing around with gravity?
If you could give me some 4th dimension time... That would be neat =)
Would a time machine help?
But, I know what you mean.
Awesome mod.
Hope I'll be able to see it in 1.4 eventually.
Understandable if it doesn't happen.

I must complement your avatar picture.

This might or might not be because this mod is built for 1.2.5. I'll update it. Someday =)
Good thing I still have a 1.2.5 jar lying around
