Reaaalllly looking forward to this mod! I've been waiting for about a month and a half now. The funny part is I usually just run the server separately from minecraft on the same laptop. I just think it would be easier to run it all in one window. I usually have like 3 windows open at the same time! I've started using single player commands though because it has worldedit and that is mainly what I wanted. Anyway, I just wanted to say that this mod is awesome and I'm really excited for the update!!!
this mod doesnt work with minecraft 1.3.2 on windows
and the server files dont show up after running. not only that but when other people get a message: connection refused
please help
Lourito, odds are that it won't be updated until 1.4 comes out. 1.3.2 doesn't change too much, and it would also be more cost-effective to wait for the (hopefully soon to come) ModAPI to come out with 1.4.
Also, any help with my issue? I still can't seem to get it to work like it should - no plugins work, nothing. It's kinda lame actually.
its gona take some time for 1.4 its gona bee an heavy update
Hey, I'm on a school computer right now, and I am getting a Minecraft club set up for late arrival days. I want to know, if I run this on my client and set up a LAN server, will the 20 or so other people in the club going to have to install this on their games too? Or will it be compatible with their vanilla versions? I was thinking that if I install this on mine, run the LAN server, then they join it, that they may need it. Is this true or not? Please reply back soon, 'cause it'll all go to choas without perms and admin stuff. If they need it too, it will be no problem, itll probably be install on the school computer.

I'm attempting this right now. It's compatible with the pirated singleplayer clients as well. However, I can't get it to load prior to even having others connect.
Hey, I'm getting stuck at step 12, and everytime I try to load it, it loads, then it says

I do believe that only one client is required to be modded, It says it in the original post at some point I think. Though the question is if the school is letting you do that, why not just set up an actual server, that way you're guaranteed compatibility with any vanilla client. Just a suggestion.
Hey guys. Sorry, just regained access to my forums account after getting my email and PayPal accounts and such hacked. Anyway, I am working on full ModLoader support so that the mod is compatible with any mod that is compatible with ModLoder
Don't consider it dead just yet. We are also going to see what can be done about 1.4 support with the API. We have shrunk the mod down to using just one file from the actual game and the rest uses ModLoader's API.
EDIT 1: it works with 1.2.5 now, that is how I knew I wasn't using anything from actual Minecraft code I will probably be needed testers in about a week or so once I finish some of this up.
EDIT 2: OH YEA!!! I got it to work with the Tekkit modpack and Technic modpack since we have switched over to ModLoader... I was playing a tekkit LAN world with my friends. The game ran at about 45-60 FPS (On far) using a Core 2 Duo, 8 GB Ram, and a 6770 Radeon HD.
i have minecraft 1.3.1
i have craftbukkit.jar for 1.3.1
i have the betterlan folder in the right place
i have installed the mod file to minecraft.jar
but it just doesnt work........ it stop loading at "loading overworld 40%" and i get this error code when i start a world in vanilla then open to bukkit lan after i disconnect from the world

Doesnt work for mac, 1.3.1 or 1.3.2 ... Using Mac OSBtw, I very exited about your dev! This needs more attention, If it will work for my mac, then I will do A video on it!!

Modloader is good too. Also, are you referring to the Minecraft mod API? If so, that's not coming out until 1.5 at the very least. I don't think the update from 1.3 to 1.4 changes too much relevant code, especially if you're only changing one class file. I haven't actually looked at the snapshot code myself though.
Comfermed the Modding API has been put on "Indefinite" hold... Not for 1.4, not 1.5 and probably not even for 1.6. It was something they have been working on since Notch was working there. But when Jeb took over it kinda took a back seat. My suspicion... Jeb doesn't like people modding minecraft. in specific ways... like terraforming.

Thats all good, cant wait until next update. Been checking this page ever since 1.3.2 came out :). Cant wait to test! I hope the final code goes well
Ok, the 1.4 Prerelease is up. I suggest that if you wanna keep people from asking "When will 1.4 be out?" You download this and start on this instead of 1.3.2. Link for the client is here.

Not sure if this is the true cause, but perhaps the extra flags devoting 1 gig of RAM to the server are messing up the start, since it'd appear your computer doesn't have more than 1 gig of RAM, though the relevant detail section on memory might just mean the memory devoted to minecraft/bukkit.
This Mod looks great! I'm going to use it to develop my server before I pay somebody to host it! Do you know when the 1.3.2 update will be ready, and if it will be compatible with Mac? Anyways, keep up the great work, I can't wait!
