I'm impressed with how similar this looks to the actual game...I didn't know Minecraft could even handle this sort of stuff. Also really like how you make it difficult to acquire your powers, do not ever change that. One thing that I have always hated with Minecraft is how easy it makes everything and how little 'flash' stuff has. So kudos to you for handling it well.
EDIT: Possibly the biggest Magicka fan out there, so don't screw this up
when i play with the mod the spell thing in the corner its wight and i dont know what to do and the spells wont show up when i go to an alter but when i choose one i can see it but i dont know which im useing
fantastic mod, well done and very thought out, reminds me of a game but cant recall what it was... loved it too though
one issue I found, this has some issues with NEI, it continues to show over other GUI's like NEI inventory screen and also causes some of the buttons to glitch out graphically,
Other than those issues this is pretty awesome, cant wait to see where it goes with such a solid start
Hey, i have a question. The mod is awesome but i can't activate/shoot any spells, i have unlocked all the spells and spell slots but it isn't working. i installed mineforge, too many items, the mod itself. am i doing sommething wrong???
Hey, I just installed the mod and started playing with it and Im already in love with it. I did find one bug though that i just wanted to mention. when the magic temples appear, if they are replacing any tall grass blocks when it brings them back, they are dead shrubs. It is probobaly just a bug with how it reads the ID for the blocks it is replacing as it is generated. Im not sure but if you could perhaps get it to read the ID's metadata as well it might work. Im not sure how easy that would be, i have only ever done very simple coding.

There's a button to turn on/off the gui. Default is P and try pressing O you'll see what happen.
You can edit all key buttons in the config file in Minegicka folder

Haha ya I was joking I only expect the best. One question and one bug though:
Question: Is there a way to 'self-cast' I found the area cast and all that but I couldn't figure out the self-cast.
Bug: On the world I played I didn't have to wait to be able to use any of the elements. They were still greyed out but as soon as I had one slot open I could press the corresponding key and they would slot in...this kind of defeats the purpose of having to find the altars.
Well here is the video. The reason it is 20 min is cus YT is using ages to trim the video it will be 11.3 min when that's done.
