I love it, it looks great! I'm especially happy with the fish, there are even Corydora fishies, my favorites! The biomes look great, the blocks do, the items do, and most mobs do too!

Amongst other things I will be working on improving the animations and textures.
To everyone, I am aware that the biome can be very laggy. In a future update I will offer the option to turn the biome on or off as well as the ability to change block IDs for compatability issues. If the biome is turned off I will provide the contents of the biome in small world gen chunks instead. This greatly reduces lag, due to less Great Trees to generate, and still allows for the presence of the new biome materials in game. On top of new content planned, I am still tinkering with 1.3.1 using the newly released Forge update. So I have alot going on. Again, thank you all for your interest and input.
I added a separate download with the biome disabled. It removes the biome but adds it's contents to the game in small world gen chunks instead. You can try this version if you are experiencing too many freezes or lag spikes. I hope this helps
Added Forest Bloom trees and Air Fish to the game. These small trees will change color after a long period of time as if there were a change in seasons. The colorful Air Fish inhabit forests and swim through the air like normal fish swim through water.

I included a download link for a partial update to Minecraft 1.3.1. Of course when 1.3.2 is released I will have to start over again. I really am looking forward to when they release the official modding API. It should mean that modders will not have to start from scratch for every new update.

I really want to be able to concentrate on adding and improving this mod instead of beating my head against a wall while I try to hack this to work with updates. It looks like many people are just waiting on a stable update to Modloader. Some are looking to forge. I think most modders are thinking why waste too much time with either since the official modding API is due out in the 1.4 update. The problem is no one knows how different or similar the official API will be to the current methods of modding. I mean do I look at learning how to create a bukkit pluggin since the team working with Mojang on the official API were former bukkit developers? I cannot say enough good things about the creators of Modloader, Forge and Bukkit, but at the end of the day all I want do is create and share my creations with others.

I am trying It looks like I will be going the Forge route as it is doing things very similar to the way Bukkit manages plugins which in turn is supposedly similar to the way the new Minecraft API will handle things. Also there are a few advantages to Forge over modloader. This means it will take a bit longer to complete as I have to learn Forge but it will be worth it to those who install many mods besides just mine. Thank you again for your interest, input and patience.
I really love this mod soo much but im just asking will you be adding some sort of magic or magic items you can gain from harder mobs such as the witch ect.
Very impressive! I like this a lot- You're getting a sort of "Occult Ecosystem" going, what with witches fighting you AND trolls, etc.

This looks like it'd be AMAZING combined with Thaumcraft 2. My biggest issue with that (my favorite content mod) is that you become very powerful fairly quickly. These monsters should be a real threat.
Please don't become that one mod. The one with the floobs, and candy people? What's that one called? Never-mind. I haven't used it, so I'm not in a position to critisize it, but I've read about it- seems to add too much random, strange content. I like the level of content you have now.

Without revealing too much I do have a direction and theme with the content I have planned. I can move further forward with this as soon as I have rewrote this for Forge. What I and the rest of the modding community need is for the official modding API to be realeased as soon as possible so that we can stop wasting time updating and concentrate on creativity and content.
As far as content, I want what I add to Minecraft to feel not out of place within the world but at the same time for it to also take you where you have not gone before. The level of complexity in models, textures and animations need to flow with the content you are following in game. I can achieve a stunning degree of visual and animated complexity but it must be done where it fits. To me open ended content is much more important than end game type play. There should be something to look forward to but it should not feel as though you ended the story so to speak. That is what I like about Minecraft, you can affect the world around you and there is always something else you can build or do. Especially with family and friends.
Good philosophy, so many mods are just endgame-focused. Kills the feel of the game.

I tried it both with and without my other mods (I kept optifine in both times though, my game doesn't run well without it.)
I just keep trying 'cuz I really want this mod- more monsters, yay, monster-monster interaction, yay, water mobs, YAY! It'll be awesome with the coral reef mod...

I am gong to pull this partail update while I work on a full update to 1.3.2. I apologize, I really want to get this out as soon as possible.
How sad! Oh well, I suppose it's best to get things working.
You're going to be using forge in the future? I'm not opposed to it, whatever. Just curious. Any idea when it's due to update?

I am working on porting everything to Forge. When I am finnished it will be multiplayer accesable too. Again, thank you all for your interest and input
