Currently working on a procedurally generated roguelite platformer called Aura Of Worlds. The project is in early alpha and just over a year into development, This is part time as I'm often engaged in full time contract work.
Tired of the same Vanilla Enchantments? This mod adds 23 new unique and exciting enchantments. Each offering a unique perk to change the way you play Minecraft!
installation instructions are contained within the .zip folder. So be sure to decompress and read them.
Requires the compatible versions of PlayerAPI and (Modloader. OR Forge)
1. SWIFTNESS (ID 84): Gives the player speed 12.5% boost
in walking/running speed per level.
2. HIGHJUMP (ID 104):
Allows the player to jump 1 block higher per level
(so long as they're standing on a dry solid block).
3. ICE_STEP (ID 110):
Freeze water into ice as you walk over it.
Freeze lava into obsidian as you walk over it (Minor fire damage can still be incurred if you move too quickly).
Put out fires by jumping on them
1/5th of a change of negating fire/lava damage

Grass and mycellium spread in seconds.
Vines can grow faster than you can descend. Good for bungie jumping if you've got the guts!
Other crops/netherwart & mushrooms in proximity grow at over 100 times their usual speed (provided lighting/conditions if favorable).

5. ANTIVENOM (ID 101): Provides resistance to poisons
and splash potions of damage.
Protects 1/2 heart per level every 2.5 seconds
and stacks with each piece of armour equipped
with this enchantment.
E.g. If you have AntiVenom 3 on a chestplate
and antivenom 1 on your helmet:
this renders you impervious to poison II
However any extra splash damage/poison damage
and you'll start losing hearts.
6. DURABILITY (ID 108):
Armour has a 50% chance of not reducing durability when taking damage.
Kind of like the unbreaking counterpart, but more expensive.

9. SHARPSHOOTER (ID 74)
Arrows you fully charge moves at double the speed, unaffected by gravity
Great for sniping from afar.
10. HOMING - Upgrade from SharpShooter
Two modes of fire:
Tracker mode: Arrows you fully charged, home in on the surface point that you stare at (whether a block, or on a mob). Ignores transparent blocks.
(until you fire another arrow/deselect bow).
Seeker mode (Hold crouch): Arrows home in on mobs you stare at (flying straight otherwise)
11. SPLASH SLOWNESS (ID 83)
Creates a splash potion effect that slows down most monsters/players for upto 5 seconds.
Decrease in speed=10%+10% per level;
Use this enchantment carefully, if you're caught in the radius, you'll be slowed down by the maximum amount.
12. SPLASH VENOM (ID 103)
Poisons target for upto 6 seconds.
Level of poison= Level of enchantment
13. QUICKDRAW (ID 106):
Miss the old bows from before 1.8 where you could spam arrows?
Well now here's something better, 50% increase in bow charging speed per level
I know FifthWhammy, had an earlier implementation of the enchantment, but he discontinued it.

Every 5 damage of hearts you do to foes, you gain 1 hunger point (or 1/2 a heart if the bar is full).
Killing an enemy gives you 50% chance of gaining 1/2 heart back.
Based on a perk beverage from Bastion.
15. WISDOM (ID: 80):
-50% more XP on killing mobs
per level.
16. POISON_ASPECT (ID: 85)
-Poisons target for 7 seconds.
Potion effect strength depends on enchantment level.
17. LETHARGY (ID: 105);
-Slows down most monsters (e.g. enderman/zombie pigman/slime/magma cube...) for 5.5 seconds.
Potion effect strength depends on enchantment level.
18 COUNTER PARRY (ID: 86);
-Advanced Counter Blocking: See below;
-Additional protection of about 1/2 heart per level when blocking.
-Reprogrammed in 1.3.1 to be more intuitive and make reflected arrows do more damage.
How about an upwards knockback enchantment for swords that makes mobs fly up when you hit them just like the Gravitite sword from the Aether mod?
I think that would be cool to have something like that - the higher the level the higher the mobs fly.
Hmmm, good idea, we could call the enchantment "Uppercut".
Only thing is it would make blazes/flying ranged units in other mods a nightmare to fight, but I guess there will be disadvantages with such perks.
If enough people support this idea/have suggestions for tweaking than I'll implement it in the next release.

(e.g. poison aspect has about the same chance and slightly less cost than the fire aspect enchantment).

this is so cool you should add like a shmelter tool so when you hit gold or iron ore you get the ingot instead of a block
XkYouChoux had a similair idea, calling it burning aspect.
Once playerAPI adds a way for changing the drops of blocks (no base classes changed in the mod), I could cause fortune to make iron/gold ingots to drop from their respective ores (instead of the block itself).
You should add this enchantment to the armor were when someone hits you they get burnt. I think you should name this enchantment magma armor.
Hmmm, that sounds a bit overpowered, especially in multiplayer.
For now I'll be focusing on enchantments that keep the game balanced, and tie in with the theme.

I installed all of the mods Needed API and Modloader and this but i cant get any of the enchantments What have i done wrong
Could have done a few things. I need more info if I am to tell you. Are you getting any glitches or bugs, or are you just not getting the enchantments? You may just need to try again. Also, I have a question... will Single Player Commands work on this mod, as in the enchant command? That would be a very nice feature.

Did you delete the META_INF folder?
Modloader requires this to be removed to function properly.
To check that it's installed correctly, I suggest trying it on creative mode, to make sure you can get the enchantments.
Please add to the Bow Anti-Gravity that the arrow shoots straight

The last arrow you fire (if charged) will home in on a point you stare at, similar to the RPG homing from half life.
For balance reasons, you can't have Quick Draw and Tracking on the same bow.
Isn't haste the same as efficiency? And is possible to download only 1 new enchant (wisdom)? And if it is only one requires playerAPI
Haste and Efficiency are very similar yes, but the idea is that haste is much cheaper and will stack with any efficiency enchantment.
PlayerAPI is nescessary for all of them, as they are each called by the modified EntityPlayerSP class.
PlayerAPI ensures that other mods which would otherwise use this class won't conflict.
hi i like ur mod but can u please add water aspect to the sword enchantments, its an enchantment i made up where itll make it as if the mob ur attacking is underwater and they have air bubbles!!! =)

Yes it should. The new enchantments are added to the same global array as the vanilla enchantments.
