I think you should have other vampires, big huge wolf things that want to kill you, i also think he should be imortal and for survival you kill an animal and it drops blood, which you put in the chemisrty vase thing. you should also have super strength, speed and ability. Also the sparkle in light. watch twilight to find out more

Turning villagers into allies might get a bit too overpowered. You could just bite them and then they'd breed more. It'd have to be some kind of tool that you'd need diamonds or something to make that lets you recruit them (Steal/control their soul? :D)
I'd also like to keep this a pretty simple mod that is basically just a new game mode. I might make another version for things like werewolves and ally vampires and keep this one pretty simple.
I think you should make it like the plugin, BUT! there are no other players so to become a vampire you have to either kill another vampire with a stake and drink it's blood or get bitten/hit by it. When you become a vampire you should be able to jump 2 blocks high instead of 1, take damage from sun, NO fall damage, no hunger, no drowning and can only turn back by left clicking an alter which you have to make. That's my suggestion

Nice suggestions. From plugins that I've seen, I don't really like them. I don't really know how they work anyway. Not sure if I want to go with becoming a vampire other than starting as one. I might do a little backstory so it doesn't seem as weird just randomly spawning as a vampire. The human blood gives the 2 block high jump (maybe even 3? It's jump boost 2 :P). My reasoning behind that is that you're most powerful after feeding. No fall damage sounds pretty cool, seeing as lots of vampires are seen as being able to fly. That'd give it a "flying" aspect without being super cheap and giving a creative fly ability. No "hunger" maybe, but they'd definitely have a thirst. Gotta drink blood to keep their body going. About drowning, there's always the "vampires cannot cross running water" thing, so I might just make it so you can't go in water in the first place. And finally, about turning back from human to vampire, that sounds more like a multiplayer PvP setting. You'd originally spawn as a human or vampire (probably around 15% chance to be a vampire) and if a vampire kills you then you become a vampire as well, hunting down humans or the vampire that killed you so you can get your soul back and go to said altar to return to a human form. As always, these are just thoughts I'm putting out there for now, and maybe someone else can build on them.

Only problems I came across was that it wasn't compatible with Smart Moving; every time I tried to open the inventory I'd crash. But it works fine with the necessary mods I need like Optifine so that's good.
Thank you sir/ma'am! Seeing as you said "when you open the inventory" it probably has to do with the entity player file. It has inventory and movement and the bed stuff that I needed to change. I'll look into it but I have no idea how we'd get that fixed. :/ Which did you install first, and did you try switching which one you installed first? i.e. install smart moving before this mod, or install this one before smart moving
Perhaps the ability to glide with wings/change into a bat as well as morphing into a cloud of mist to pass through iron bars/doors/fences at the cost of faster stamina drain? Also, maybe new mobs like village guards, paladins, and vampire hunters out to kill the prowler in the night. With how zombies are neutral, instead of draining their blood, maybe right-click and "tame" (more like enslave) them to dominate their minds with your superior vampiric power!

Maybe If that stuff happens Which I'd like alot... Umm adding a certain limit of slave zombies or vampire allies or stuff like that so It's not THAT overpowered. Maybe like 5 at a max or so?
Damn this mod, i keep putting modloader in, deleted meta.inf, and than the vampire mod it wont freaking work
Steps:

2. Open the bin using 7zip or any other file opener of your choice.

3. Drag EVERYTHING inside the mod folder into the MC Bin.

It's awesome to see so many people wanting to help out.
Also, to everyone: kinda waiting on an updated version of modloader to update to 1.3. I might work on the stuff that doesn't require modloader though if it doesn't come out today or tomorrow, or if I get bored.
Sorry for the late reply, but I installed smart moving first, and I as I wanted to play the mod asap, I didn't check to see if installing this mod first would help. xD Going to try installing Smart Moving with the currently modded .jar to see if it'll work at all now.
Edit: Seems to be working so far with inventory. Only problems I have found is that the jump boost doesn't seem to work (I can see how that relates with smart moving though) and not burning in sunlight, which doesn't bother me that much. Also, despite saying "You can only sleep in the day", I can only sleep at night. These are all bearable though so that's good and everything else is working fine c:
