Found a possible bug with the Bag of Holding where, if I upgrade it while it has stuff in it, the stuff that was inside it prior to upgrading will be destroyed.

Hello, I plan on using this mod in my server's private modpack, which is currently just a list of mods, and a config download. My server is whitelisted, and I plan on only distributing to the people on the server (~5). You can see my current mod-list at mc.ezekielelin.com, which is my current solution while I sort out mod permissions.
From what I understand after reading this post, I don't have to wait for permission to use it in the pack. I will assume that is what you mean by "You post in this thread that this is being used in a modpack" and will add it to the pack until further notice by you.
I am Going to put this in a modpack. I dont yet have a website for the modpack although I will make one. The Name of the ModPack is called TechnicallyFun Pack It is a compilation of technical and fun mods. Reply if you dont want your mod in the Pack. TY
Oh gee why don't I just steal a car and leave a voicemail for the car owner saying; "I'm stealing your car, tell me if you don't want me to steal it"
EDIT: Ok nvm about that for the most part and I apologize if I was rude. But you still NEED a website...
So today I made an entire ore-processing plant with only Factorization, Thermal Expansion, and Iron Chests. Routers are cool.
Thermal Expansion- For a Liquid transposer (under the router below the mixer in the below picture), and a redstone energy cell to power it.
Iron Chests- In order to differentiate between multiple chests being used as buffers when one Router had to go into another. This probably wasn't necessary but oh well. This can also be useful if you are needing two chests in a line of the same machine, where a router may route randomly to each even if its on Machine Filter 'Near' Mode.
I'm particularly proud of the mixer setup, where the water bucket gets put back into the mixer after the mixing in about one second, and all of the products are immediately sorted and sent to the right place.
One part that need some ironing out is the crystallizer section. I used a few routers all trying to pull from one in attempt to have all of that split evenly, although every-time the same ones are left out. It seems random in deciding which routers are excluded as sometimes the closer one will not get priority.

Quote from The license »
Do not distribute! Unless you have my permission. This mod may be used in modpacks under the following conditions:
1. You post in this thread that this is being used in a modpack. If it is a public modpack, then it must include the pack's name and the primary URL where the modpack can be found.
2. If the modpack is, or is derived from, the modpacks known as "tekkit" or "technic", or is kept in company with them, or uses their launcher, then the configuration file "factorization.cfg" must have "addBranding" set to "true", such that this is the default value for all users of the modpack. (Users of the modpack may change this value themselves if they wish.)
3. The modpack must include in it a text file listing for each public mod: the name of the mod, the mod's author, and the mod's forum thread or website.
The license disagrees with you. He/she has now met the first two conditions for including Factorization in his modpack, and we can't tell if he/she's met the third one.

actually, it doesnt disagree with him.

it doesnt matter if he meets the 3 criteria, he STILL MUST have the authors permission.
when the author gives his permission, THEN the 3 criteria MUST be met.
and THEN he can distribute in accordance with the authors wishes

The usual way to interpret that is that it automatically gives you permission if you fulfil all the criteria.
I hope that this is an ok place to post this. I beleave that I have found a bug with this mod and forestery. I had a tree farm from forestery working till i put a cople of wrathlamps above it, then the farm stoped growing.
Ive noticed that alot of items do not have theyre name shown when put inside of barrels, most noticable with IC2 items. Is this something factorization forgot and will be implemented later on?
This happends when using the FTB MindCrack pack v4
i'm a little confused. i think that factorization is breaking MC, however most of the mods are practically from technic pack with a few additions, and from what i've seen in recent techinc builds, everything seems to be working fine there with factorization.
the particular issue i'm having is: i throw in factorization, since there are ID conflicts i just delete the config folder so RedPower resolves everything, the game starts up, but a game world doesnt. After i exit MC and try to launch it again, it doesnt even start up and i end up with a buch of "java.lang.RuntimeException: Invalid shaped ore recipe" errors, does anyone have the slightest idea what could be the problem? without factorization the collection of mods that i have work fine, i cant be 100% sure that the game wont crash inside a world, but at least the game loads...
Do not use forge 6.5.0.486 because it crashes with Factorization... 480 works fine (with 80 other mods), I have no opinion on any version in between 481-484, have not tested them all yet
Post your ForgeModLoader-0.log in a spoiler next time.

Anyone else having a problem with batteries not charging or am I doing something wrong here? Have it somewhat like this:
Turbine | -Battery | \/ to the rest of the machines
all of the machines run with no problems but the battery doesn't do anything when the system's idle. (0% battery, 11) edit: ok, that's odd.. kick the server over after I fix a dynmap issue and the battery is suddenly full.
Is the turbine having a water source block below it? Are the reflective mirrors around it? If both of them are, then I can't think of any reason they might not be working. They are working fine for me though.
To those having incompatibility issues with Redpower, change the item ID's of Factorization to another set, different from Redposer's, and make sure that all item ID's in Redpower config are different (many are set to the same values when you run autoassign, which for me was 768.). Or you can delete the redpower config, if you are feeling lazy, but that might corrupt existing worlds.
well i configed the rp manually and changed the item ids of factorization to 8000 (was empty in nei item id dump), the thing is , no matter what item id i give to factorization items, they don't show in nei list and when you dump item ids, there is no items in the list near what you gave factorization, in other words, game don't see those items when you change the ids from default, why is it happening?

When I delete my config folder and start MC again to let forge/MC to rewrite the standard config again it works fine the first time. but if I close MC and restart it I get this kind of crash report. It works on the first start with a fresh /config, but it doesn't on the second time (with the same /config)
The problem is with Redpower. Open its config, and change the Item IDs to something that do not conflict with factorization's, or with any other mod. Keep in mind that auto assign in RP is broken at the moment.
Ahh thank you. But still, regarding the block-ID conflicts: I had them a lot in my minecraft career and if they occurred MC didn't start in the first place. But here: it starts once, works fine but as soon as I close and restart it I get the error msg. That's that thing what keeps me wondering.
The problem is RP2's autoassign. The first time you start it up, it automatically assigns IDs to not conflict, but then disables autoassign and forgets to write them to the config file. So then you start it up, again autoassign is disabled, and the IDs are default. And there's where the error is from.

Wrathlamps create a "light air" block that forestry farms don't see as "air" therefore trees wont grow due to lack of space.
It's also most likely a Forestry issue, since there's an isAirBlock function that it should use instead of checking whether it's block ID 0.
This happends when using the FTB MindCrack pack v4

I have the same error
Have it somewhat like this:
all of the machines run with no problems but the battery doesn't do anything when the system's idle. (0% battery, 11)
edit: ok, that's odd.. kick the server over after I fix a dynmap issue and the battery is suddenly full.
Is the turbine having a water source block below it? Are the reflective mirrors around it? If both of them are, then I can't think of any reason they might not be working. They are working fine for me though.
well i configed the rp manually and changed the item ids of factorization to 8000 (was empty in nei item id dump), the thing is , no matter what item id i give to factorization items, they don't show in nei list and when you dump item ids, there is no items in the list near what you gave factorization, in other words, game don't see those items when you change the ids from default, why is it happening?
The problem is with Redpower. Open its config, and change the Item IDs to something that do not conflict with factorization's, or with any other mod. Keep in mind that auto assign in RP is broken at the moment.
The problem is RP2's autoassign. The first time you start it up, it automatically assigns IDs to not conflict, but then disables autoassign and forgets to write them to the config file. So then you start it up, again autoassign is disabled, and the IDs are default. And there's where the error is from.
