So, I'm having a problem where Silver Ingots cannot be used to craft anything at all. Other mods' silver ore works fine, so I can work around this, but you can't even make them into blocks. I'm on the current version of the mod 0.8.95.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Two wrongs don't make a right, but two Wrights made an airplane.
1. Is there any chance you can add a config as to what the colossi drop? (farming music discs for a l.m.p. is very fun and rarely incentivized)
2. You do not get the bottle back after cleaning ores. Which I assume is a bug. (some weird hardcore modpacks may wish to remove/make the bucket more expensive which would mean they would also have to overwrite the crafting recipes for clean ores which further screws with the mixer and the compression crafter)
Colossi are all about dropping LMPs, so probably not. What, is getting to listen to the music discs not incentive enough?
The pack-maker'd have to figure out a way to get waterbottles to return themselves.

Just thought I'd put this here, but I recently went onto a DW20 server and was being shown around a base and saw this, thought it looked odd. It makes your character glitch out when trying to stand on it. My friend had said that they have run into it before (character glitching out in that spot), but didn't know what was up with it since they couldn't see it at all, all they see is the obsidian floor. Anyways, they let me dig around to see if it was a colossus or something like that, and it's kind of strange. It's just an arm or pillar or something like that. We can't interact with it in any way and I seem to be the only one who can see it, any idea on how to fix it?
I noticed that the colossi crash my game when I have Just Another Spawner installed...i know a few versions back they worked fine together. I wonder if TwoThe and walkerjonny are experiencing the same crash. I'm at work atm so I can't check my crash log but hopefully it's an easy fix.

Yeah, they've got a tendency to lose limbs sometimes. >_>
An admin should run /fzds + (which should say something along the lines of "DSE ARM LEFT" w/ nearby coordinates and show a notice at its position), and /fzds remove

0.8.97
Block Matcher completed
Lots of documentation for everything
Refactored recipe system to bits
Added support for IC2's AdvRecipes, so they'll be layedout properly
Made a change to FZDS's usage of RenderGlobal for Fastcraft compatibility; may cause other issues. Let me know.
Leyden jar recipe uses a lead ingot on the bottom instead of glass
Screwpump bugfixes
Custom titlescreen splashes
Colossus uses temporary normal invisible flaming explosive zombies instead of baby invisible flaming explosive zombies.
0.8.96b
Hotblocks: go into your inventory when broken; will break quickly if broken with the correct tool, but won't silk-touch
0.8.96
Deleted all anime references from the manual
Factored the steam turbine into the whirligig and the charge generator, with optional shaft between them
Charge generator can run on IC2 kinetic energy
Added anthropic generator
Added saptap
Added bibliogen
Added hotblocks: blocks you've just placed break easily
Barrels now work in adventure mode. This required a separate block ID, so only newly placed barrels are adventure-mode-interactible.
Barrel ISBRH sides cull
Added the 'block matcher'; probably still needs work
Added /f debugBlockUpdates ; shows world render updates
Pickblock improvement hopefully no longer has lame behavior
Added leafbombs; lets you spam leaves nicely
Added blast blocks; 9 gunpowder; they chain explosions & can set off TNT; triggered by fire/explosions; currently don't actually explode any blocks, this may be changed
The colossus now puts up a proper fight
Fixed barrelcart notices
Removed all unused textures from resource pack (except for a couple), and also stopped loading textures that weren't used
Boilers hold 1 bucket of water & 1 bucket of steam instead of 8 each
"It worked, captain!"
"Yep, it sure did."
"Say, captain... don't you have a patreon or something"
The rotation direction of the waterwheel/windmills sometimes doesn't match the rotation direction of shafts
Certain IC2 recipes are printed wrong
Colossi/FZDS remain pretty buggy
One more thing: The point of all the new power sources is to encourage building. If you plop the bibliogen next to a 9x9x9 cube of bookshelves, that's cheating. Build a nice looking library to not be a cheater.

Oh, no, I'd only tell them not to cheat if I was playing with them.

Worked around. I really ought to know better by now than to call methods from other mods without a try/catch. Did you report this to the extrabiomes people?
[FML/]: The world 264db5ad (Copy of New World9) may have leaked: seen 40 times.
and it's growing.
I narrowed this to Factorization - it stops after removing.
Can someone check/confirm that it is not only my "imagination" ? ;).
World leaks are pretty tricky! I'll see what I can do. Pretty sure I haven't seen FZ doing any world leaks in my instance tho.
0.8.98
Rebalanced the water wheel
Fixed display of narrow IC2 recipes in FZ manual
Imported extra splashes from the future.
Fixed oredictionary fail in some recipes

I have not, no. Since this occurred with the upgrade from 0.8.95->0.8.97 I figured I'd leave it here first and see what you thought of it, then report over there if applicable. I'll open a ticket over there as well to make them aware of the issue, and your workaround for it. Thanks for your reply!

I teared down whole instance of mine and narrowed this to Factorization and ForgeMultiPart ( .345 ) - only this two left and I still see this leak.
I noticed the same thing from logisticpipes so I'm now clueless - this is on forge .1492 and java 8_60/java 7.
I tried to add Factorization to newest FTB infinity and same thing - no idea what is going on.

Edit: Turning off hammerdim also removes leak.
Also confirming this. My leaks are coming from this mod and HardcoreExpansion mod (similar leaks). For your mod something with hammerdim seems to be the cause of it. I have heard it is something to do with the world being unloaded or loaded, but I cannot 100%. I'd assume putting a small chunk loader would stop the issue in that dimension but I can't test yet, nor do I know how it works yet
It was me who started that rumour I am afraid. However the new Colossus in working is absolutely not unlike MetaWorlds, Factorization is (for as far as I know) not trying to position whole other dimensions under an angle within another dimension. I meant that someone taking over/continuing Meta Worlds might get some inspiration/ideas on how to do this from this mod.
Whole other dimensions? No, it only does a subset of a particular dimension.
Darn it. It seems my functional airship dream was never meant to be.
Don't give up hope! You could make a airship right now, but you'd have to use /fzds commands to control it. There was 'airplanes' in for a couple minutes, but the collision was too buggy. A sufficiently slow airship probably wouldn't have that problem tho...
So, I'm having a problem where Silver Ingots cannot be used to craft anything at all. Other mods' silver ore works fine, so I can work around this, but you can't even make them into blocks. I'm on the current version of the mod 0.8.95.

Yeah, it's a TODO item.
Weird.
When a servo passes over it, it pushes onto the stack the color the color of the block in front of the servo. This works on colored blocks & crops.
Probably not FZ.
New FZ soon.

Using only Forge 1492, FZ 0.8.97 and ExtraBiomesXL 3.16.3. All the additions with this new version look awesome, can't wait to play with them. Thanks for your time!
After update to .97 I noticed in logs fancy:
and it's growing.
I narrowed this to Factorization - it stops after removing.
Can someone check/confirm that it is not only my "imagination" ? ;).
Oh, no, I'd only tell them not to cheat if I was playing with them.
Worked around. I really ought to know better by now than to call methods from other mods without a try/catch. Did you report this to the extrabiomes people?
What mod's causing it?
I'm not making a modpack, but here is my (almost) finished wheat/crop farm:
That is incredible, well done!
The solar boiler can produce 5x amount of steam than in old version. Is it intented?
I have been told that Factorization is developing certain capabilities like the now-dead Metaworlds mod. Is this true?
Darn it. It seems my functional airship dream was never meant to be.
I may have tracked it down.
Yawn.
Are you using the new whirligig system? The charge system's more of a formality than a properly balanced system ATM.
Yeah.
Whole other dimensions? No, it only does a subset of a particular dimension.
Don't give up hope! You could make a airship right now, but you'd have to use /fzds commands to control it. There was 'airplanes' in for a couple minutes, but the collision was too buggy. A sufficiently slow airship probably wouldn't have that problem tho...
Couple lame colossi glitch-bugs have been fixed.
Testing out a couple of ideas for a server spawn. I'm really liking the twisted dark iron blocks and hinges.
i have an error when using this with thaumic horizon, among other mods, but it crashes on start up with thaumic horizons.error log: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=3315713F440A6017!312&authkey=!AOk8X9zfCXjenFs&ithint=file,txt
its whatever was in the tekkit launcher debug log, incase your wondering.
i play MC with 383-384 mods. i use Mats Mega Techpack on the technic launcher, link: http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/mats-techpack-1710.450813
