Actually, here it is revised! It wouldn't be reasonable to re-upload it to the Mob Talker Wiki, or DesktopNexus, but I want to know if anyone thinks this is better, and I may or may not do so for the sake of my OCD! Lmao!
Thanks for accepting my request! Bet Cupa the creeper is happy too. (What am i saying?!)
Nice, I love the mod. But I noticed a pretty big bug when I was playing. Sorry if someone already said they have this bug, or if it's fixable (Or how to fix it if it is), but I'm too lazy to read through 115 pages. Sorry. Anyway, I was talking to Cupa, but then as the conversation ended, I clicked on her again and minecraft closed. I restarted, and she talked to me, and I talked to her, then it closed. This happened about 3 times. Does anyone know of a fix? I'm running Kubuntu 12.04 64 bit, if it's any help.
Well, according to my specs, and Apple Inc., I'm supposed to have a x64 bit, but I don't. When I play with the mod, my Minecraft will crash occasionally...
I haven't noticed any serious problems like what you seem to have, where it crashes repeatedly. Is it possible you're overwhelming your video card, with certain settings (i.e. Max FPS, far render distance, "fancy" graphics, hd texture pack etc)?

No problem! Thanks for the honest feedback, there was really plenty I wanted to change, since I threw it together when I was bored. Lol
And once the downloads stop coming in on the current wallpaper, I'll probably replace it with this new one! Cupa is my favorite out of all of them! x)
I installed MobTalker just like the YouTube video said, but when I started up Minecraft I got an error message that the image Talker.png could not be found... despite the fact that Talker.png was exactly where it should have been. Please help!
Well, installation for this mod seems to have changed slightly. Is that so, or did I jut do something wrong? I get the mob talker item, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I've installed the English script, but nothing shows up. Not even the white GUI. The game doesn't crash, but I'm wondering how to properly install it so that the mod does something. It worked when I had it for 1.2.5

====Installation====
1.Install ModLoader correctly
2.Download mod_Mobtalker.zip
3.Choose one script file.(You can only choose one but you can merge them yourself.) 4.Put mod_Mobtalker.zip into /mods/ folder
5.Install the script file.Simply overwrite the /resource/ folder with the one inside zip file.
6.Check if the /resource/mobTalker_script/ was created.
7.Run the game and enjoy
omg i love the creeper girl. <3 i really love creepers. hmm... but maybe have male mobs also. cause there are female minecraft players. and ya i mean just so it isn't just 1 gender based. Also maybe have multiple names for mobs? but.. ya idk. keep up the good work buddy.
Has someone the same problem in Lan? I will always be kicked from the Lan when someone's talking with a monster But this mod is awesome, Keep up the work
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
The Setting for Real-Life is seriously hardcore and the story-line so unbalanced.

Mine is usually fine but I set a batch file to run Minecraft using 6GB RAM because my computer has 8GB RAM, it may be that the client hosting the Lan server is having issues keeping up, you can find out how to create a batch file and allocate more RAM to Minecraft here http://muttsworldmine.com/forums/topic/136-allocate-more-memory-to-minecraft/
Is it possible to put additional/custom expressions in?
Like "Shy2" etc.
I personally thought it'd be as easy as just tossing a .png image among the other .png's inside of the textures with a specific mob, but I tried that and it just registered as normal.png so I'm assuming if you want your own images you would need a java decompiler so you could change whichever class loads the #FACE's

I may have found the right .class file... do you know where might i find a java decompiler/.class editor?
It may just be a matter of switching around a few things.
I had a little problem with this mod. When I talk to the mobs. They only say one thing!
Some mods won't allow the Mob Talker's speech to progress. As far as I know, I've only had that problem when I had another mod running that interfered, such as the Cute Mob Models mod.

It's actually a common case of not left clicking when inthe dialogue.

That's a possibility, of course! However, I had the same problem Tony1200 is having when I had the Cute Mob Models mod being installed at the same time! So, I know that when some certain mods are installed, it can cause issues, regardless of left-clicking or not. Personal experience. Lol

I personally had the issue with Cute Mob Models, but I had other mods added at the time... so now I just play vanilla minecraft + MobTalker since it makes it interesting enough. ^^

I personally used this one from CNET http://download.cnet.com/DJ-Java-Decompiler/3000-2213_4-10046809.html but it likes to advertise, might be able to find better ones on google, but overall it does what it's meant to xP

Do you have Cute Mob Models installed?
