I made this for you.
METAL RODS [1.5.x] (5/5) Adds iron trapdoors and new iron and gold rods which can be used to crafted enhanced tools and weapons.
This mod adds an iron trapdoor and new metal rods into the game. Iron rods (created by placing two ingots vertically in the crafting grid) are used in place of ingots in the iron bar crafting recipe, which is now used by iron trapdoors (that were, as an interesting side-note, already coded into the game!).
Iron rods can also be used to craft reinforced, more durable versions of the standard tool-sets. Gold rods (crafted in the same way) can be used to create enhanced, more enchant-able tools. Finally, the mod adds the option to replace or supplement the vanilla rail recipes with new rod-based alternatives. You can pick and choose whichever features you'd like in the mod's config.
NOTE: Special instructions for Better Noteblocks and Signs can be found in the README packaged with the download.
Meant as a sort of spiritual successor to the original Better Blocks, this mod is a collection of small modular changes to the properties of certain vanilla blocks and items. Each component is stand-alone and can be disabled or re-enabled separately from all of the others:
Better Bonemeal adds the ability to fertilize mycellium, cactuses, lilypads, reeds, and vines
... Blaze Powder adds the ability to fertilize netherwart with blaze powder
... Charcoal gives charcoal its own sprite
... Cobwebs makes webs harvest-able with shears
... Dead Bushes makes brush in desert drop sticks
... Dye adds the ability to 'paint' onto wool blocks directly
... Mushrooms adds the ability to harvest mushroom blocks with silk touch
... Noteblocks adds the ability to cycle back pitch by holding shift while right-clicking
... Pumpkins makes pumpkins grow without a face (and changes crafting recipes to match)
... Recipes changes the recipes for cake, cookies, and powered and detector rails
... Signs makes signs edit-able by holding shift and right-clicking on them
... Spawners adds monster spawners to creative (type can be changed w/ spawn eggs)
... Stairs adds eleven optional new stair-types
... Torches lets torches be placed on more blocks
... Wood changes the inner texture of logs to better match bark and planks

SLIME 'SPANSION [1.2.5] (7/7) Mini-expansion of new features involving slimes.
This mod adds a bouncing blue slime variant and two new craft-able slime blocks - stick and bouncy - made from arrange four slimeballs (green and blue respectively) in the crafting grid.
Bouncy slime blocks affect mobs, minecarts, and the player - though holding shift will allow you to pass over safely. Sticky slime blocks negate fall damage, but also slow general movement and prevent anything inside of them from jumping high enough to escape.
The first optional class adds custom movement inside of green slime - without it, the blocks behave like craft-able cob-webs. The second optional class makes gravity-affected blocks bounce off of blue slime.

CHANGE-LOG
v.1.0.3 (7/7)

- nerfed slime block crafting recipe to four slimeballs from the previous nine
- added option to change itemID of slimeball in config [ModLoader]

- fixed config issue with Forge version
v.1.0.1 (7/6)
- Forge version released
- updated with smoother "bouncing" physics and slightly nerfed blue slime damage
v.1.0 (7/5)

COMPATIBILITY
requires either ModLoader or Forge
uses 2 BlockIDs (171, 172) - configurable
[ModLoader] overrides 2 texture indices + 1 sprite index
edits the nn.class file (Entity) - optional
edits the abf.class file (EntityFallingSand) - optional
KNOWN ISSUES
There isn't a piston crafted with blue slimeballs - terrible, I know! I had a bit of an animation issue when creating it, but it's functionally correct otherwise, so you can expect it to be included in an update eventually.
Projectiles and items aren't handled by blue slime blocks (yet)
Blue slimes have green particle effect (working on it)
Bouncy blocks do not affect boats (intentional due to a particle issue)
The sound effects for placing and interacting with slime blocks are not ideal
Inside of green slimeblock is a bit... janky (will be addressed in future update)
Short question: Is it Minecraft Forge compatible? Both are overwriting the pp.class, and I don't want to break my existing mods...
At the moment, I don't believe so. I can definitely look into making it compatible if there's enough interest though. The mod is simple enough that it shouldn't take too long to port over.
I just added a download for a Forge-compatible version of the mod in the first post. Please let me know if there are any issues and I'll address them as soon as I can.
The mod still overrides 3 texture indices, and will until I can figure out how to apply a new texture map to the "base" blocks. Also, the mod still alters the pp.class (BlockLog). This might be unavoidable, since there are changes made to the behavior, textures, and drops of the vanilla logs. However, all of the properties added to the class by Forge are still there, so it should be compatible with any mod that doesn't edit that same file.
I just finished and uploaded my second mod, "Fancy Fences"; more info and a link to download can be found in the first post. Please let me know if there's any issues or if you have any feedback in general.
I like it dude.I like both ideas But gonna wait til you tweak the wood mod a little more.Gonna try the fences though...since the wood mod is forge compatible gonna try that.Could you make the fence mod forge compatible as well because everybody uses forge and it just makes sense.Thank you
EDIT: how do you place the logs when I reight click with log in hand it places it normally

EDIT: how do you place the logs when I reight click with log in hand it places it normally
If you're trying to place the logs in an old world, you'll need to remove and recollect your logs in order to have the new horizontally place-able versions. I recommend making a backup first, since this mod can affect the world in some annoying ways.
If you're in creative mode there are two sets of logs in your inventory. The set closer to the bottom are the new logs used for building. The set near the top are logs that spawn in trees on world-gen.
I'll upload a Forge compatible version of the Fences mod later today if it's needed
Edit: There is no need to update: the mod is 100% compatible with Forge already. Just throw the files into the .jar normally and you're good to go! (Note: .info and config files will be added into future releases, to take advantage of Forge features)
Just made a quick update to the download links in the first post. The Forge version of "Better Wood" was a bit broken, so if you picked it up, you may want to re-download and use this new fixed version instead (also removed the need to override any texture indices). Sorry for the inconvenience!

That would suggest no but there could be a patch made.
Thank you, I'm glad that you like it!
At the moment, I don't believe so. I can definitely look into making it compatible if there's enough interest though. The mod is simple enough that it shouldn't take too long to port over.
Just fixed up the link, so it should work now for anyone interested.
I use it as my survival test-world, haha. Gives me easy access to pretty much every part of the game!
Hope you enjoy!
I just finished and uploaded my second mod, "Fancy Fences"; more info and a link to download can be found in the first post. Please let me know if there's any issues or if you have any feedback in general.
Enjoy!
I stared at your avatar for like a minute XD
I like it dude.I like both ideas But gonna wait til you tweak the wood mod a little more.Gonna try the fences though...since the wood mod is forge compatible gonna try that.Could you make the fence mod forge compatible as well because everybody uses forge and it just makes sense.Thank youEDIT: how do you place the logs when I reight click with log in hand it places it normally
Maybe! I'll have to learn how to do that first, haha. Glad you like it!
I'll upload a Forge compatible version of the Fences mod later today if it's neededEdit: There is no need to update: the mod is 100% compatible with Forge already.
Edit: Also, just broke 100 downloads. Woohoo!
Thanks buddy. =D
