No the directory structure goes .minecraft is the root directory, minecraft.jar etc are in .minecraft/bin. Mods are in .minecraft/mods. Database is in .minecraft/database etc...
yeah the minecraft directory.alos calld the minecraft.jar.on most computersit shows up as .minecraft within the bin in the normal.minecraft..
I was just following instructions in a tutorial video ,well excpet for accidentaly deleting the database ,then restoring it..
was it supposed to create another default kind of folder just called minecraft containing the pixelmon 1.7.6b zip?Or is that just a result of my tomfoolery?

1)download the latest version of pixelmon
2)put the .zip IN THE .MINECRAFT FOLDER, NOT THE BIN, NOT THE MODS FOLDER
3)Extract IN THE .MINECRAFT FOLDER
4) ENJOY!

pixelmon is really buggy! I can't play more than half an hour because it closes automatically!!! I'll search for a crash report, but it won't be easy: it does not tell you mc crashes; instead, it closes like if I had clicked the red arrow in the right upper corner...
Try reinstalling with a fresh minecraft and everything. i had this issue but it was because i didnt start with a new minecraft. i redownloaded everything and it was the exact same versions but it wasnt an issue anymore. also they do a very good job updating and bug fixing so if it is too buggy then check back in like a week and they might have a new version
Which pokemons know teleport? just for curiosity... and also, what does the attack do? can it actually teleport you?

(when made) sounds like you want the johto kanto and unova model packs (assuming this is how they do it, i think its how they will do it)
Hmm... Granted it would make sense, I don't think makeing them into model packs will quite do it... I get doing a content pack for F/A (which I'm helping with), but for Pixelmon, it just dosen't seem right...

Also, sorry, but moving away from forge at this stage would be impossible, unless we started modifying base minecraft files, and we are strictly against that.

Well, considering that the differences between 1.7.6 and 1.7.6b are minor at best, just minor bug fixes, I would have no idea how that could be possible >.<

We will definitely be adding legendaries. There will probably be a varied approach to how they appear though

How do you make your pks attack out of battle? I can only take them out, but they won't attack unless I get in a fight whit another pk or a trainer!
