Wow.. I was going to recommend the spinning items in the inventory a while ago, but never did! It's great that you've got it working and are planning to implement it. It looks really well done. Nice job!

Thanks. I plan on changing it so only the highlighted item spins. Less annoying that way.

Perhaps have options in the config for this. I imagine not everyone will want dizzy items, but I think it looks amazing!
Also, can we maybe get 3D thrown items (snowballs, enderpearls, eggs, potions)? Or are entities harder to 3D-ify.
If I were you, just make the item you have selected in your inventory (whichever one the mouse is hovering over, or the bright square in the main selection) spin, not the whole thing. That'd be MUCH better and less distracting, then an option wouldn't be needed as I'm sure everyone would be fine with it like that instead.

Yeah, for the next big update, it would be nice to select options (all items in inventory, item selected, equipped items only, 1.4.1.-style, etc.) for users who like how the mod currently is.
Not sure if this has been mentioned but will there be support for Risugami's Elemental Arrows in the future? Currently, dropping the arrow with 3D Items causes the client to crash.
For the upcoming items spin in inventory feature, I recommend not applying this new effect to the clock and compass. It would be hard to find directions or tell time if it constantly spun.
I've been working on some new features and making this mod work with Forge 4.x.x. Sorry if I haven't had time to reply to your messages and comments.
As for the inventory spinning items things, a lot of people seem not to like it because they that it's annoying. I'm not stupid, I know it's annoying too; the video was just a preliminary version. By default, only the item that you have your mouse over will rotate. This of course will be changeable in the config to disable it completely.
In the next version, this mod will edit more (hopefully unused) base classes: GuiContainer and GuiIngame. The GuiContainer edit should not pose any incompatibilities, but the GuiIngame, which renders your HUD, may be more a problem. I'm currently looking into a way so I don't have to edit it.
No problem, then.
That's what kinda through me for a loop, I know ItemRenderer is a pretty big base file to edit lol

Next: to make items only spin when you have your mouse over them.
I like it
