either ive mounted modloader improperly or something but when i drop an item it crashes the game

That does sound like an incorrectly installed Modloader. Try again from a clean minecraft.jar
*Facepalm* I wasn't aware there was a forge specific version. I downloaded it from here, it didn't mention such a thing. That should fix it, thanks. Gonna try it and report back if it doesn't. Works just fine now, so it was just me being dumb.
I was on the forums like 15 minuets ago and you didn't have a optifine version yet but after 15 minuets i wen't back on the forums and i see that you made an optfine version already XD
The only thing i have is a bug with the optifine version
K so im using forge and optifine together i used the optifine version and all my forge related mods get messed up and i guess modloader mods to as there icons are all different then it should be but when i install the forge version all my mods are fine
So maybe i should just use the forge version instead and forget about HD optifine textures?
What exactly did you change in each of these that warrants a specific version? You obviously don't have any direct conflicts, but whatever you did in the Optifine version is sure not liking Forge...
Forge and your Forge version work just fine with HD textures provided either Optifine or the HDpatch are installed.
I haven't tested, but I assume the regular version works without Forge in the same way.
With that in mind, I just don't see the point of the HDpatch/Optifine versions at all.
I haven't tested this either, but does the Forge version even change anything of importance?
I just did a lag test and it stayed a steady 60 fps till about 300 items. It is important to state that even using regular minecraft blocks that use the same rate of motion would have the same effect, so my verdict is that it does not effect lag at all. This post is for anyone with optifine who might be afraid of fps drop.

The Forge version supports Forge's infinite terrain sprites, the MCPatcher version support MCPatcher's HD textures, while the Optifine version supports Optifine's HD textures.

Well i did just the optfine versions of this mods and than i get the bug.
