Using a Void Chisel on stone uses 1/4 of its durability, using it again means it only has 50% left, using a third time leaves 1/4 left, using a fourth time using the fourth quarter of it durability, and using a fifth time destroys it, meaning you can get 5 Endstone per Void Chisel, instead of 4.
Sun and Moon Shards are in Tools instead of Materials.
Could you please NOT add in more chisels? This mod already has7 chisels, and some only have a few functions. Could you expand of the functions of current chisels before adding in new ones?
You can turn Inscribed Obsidian into Fused Obsidian, which is the same but with orange lines and stronger, so could you fuse Etched Obsidian, making Fused Solar Obsidian and Fused Lunar Obsidian? I know they're not called that, but what I mean is you will be able to get Fused Obsidian in green, blue and yellow.
Snow Bricks, Snow Stairs, Snow Brick Stairs, Mud Bricks and Mud Brick Stair don't seem to have a tool that destroys them quicker, like a Shovel is meant to destroy Gravel.
I'll fix that void chisel thing.
I think I'm going to make it so that you can get ice shards by chiseling an ice block, not by breaking it. It will result in a lot less terrible ice-related bugs.
I'll try to add more functions to existing chisels over adding new chisels, yes.
i don't think I'll make etched obsidian fusable. Inscribed obsidian has a few major differences when compared to etched, and sealing it wasn't so much a 'make it a pretty red color' as 'seal the ancient and malicious force unleashed upon the world'. I could make it so that burning chisels make red etched obsidian, though.
Also, the stairs are made using the standard BlockStair class. They have the same weaknesses as any other vanilla type of stairs.
I'll also fix the shards being in the wrong inventory page.
Thanks for Netherbrick Fence Gate, but it doesn't connect to Netherbrick Fence, or normal Fence either. However, normal Fence Gate does connect to Netherbrick Fence, so I think you made a mistake. Not trying to be rude, but you made normal Fence Gate connect to Netherbrick Fence, not Netherbrick Fence Gate.
can you make the etched gemstones able to be turned into stained glass by like smelting it or putting it in a crafting table surrounded by glass i dont realy care which you decide, i'd also make regular glass have the same pattern when chissled. you could add more designs so that you could cycle through the designs on the block and more blocks that can be chisled. mabey better chisles would make more complex designs.
sure, I'll give it a try. Note, however, that I am currently without a computer and in the clutches of the glorious technophobic empire. Expect my full return to regular updating next sunday or the day after.
alright, I'm back, and doing some work on the mod. I'm also a bit busy with moving into University at the moment, though, so don't expect too much too soon.
I'm also working on what could potentially become a new mod entirely, that is still very experimental and is incompatible with just about everything. It's sort of the opposite of this mod, changing the very fabric of the game itself as opposed to adding more stuff similar to existing stuff.
Anyways, I should update soon, assuming I can survive the next few days. Please excuse me, I have to go start building the fortifications in preparation for tomorrow morning. If they want to dye me purple, they're up for one hell of a fight.
Is there a way to turn off that horrible grassy cobblestone issue? It's ruining all of my castle walls! A configuration file, perhaps...
What exactly is wrong with the grassy cobblestone at the moment? I thought it was just occasionally not growing, last I heard.
NVMD, adding it to config.

Yeah, it has an odd way of spreading, so sometimes it does, other times it doesn't, sometimes it's really slow, and other times it's fast. Would there be a way to make it more constant?
I've tried. It uses the same code as normal grass, I'm not sure what the issue is. Anyways, Like I mentioned on twitter, I may need to add dependency on Forge. I've singlehandedly passed the terrain sprite index limit. How is everyone with this idea?
I think you should add in Gravel, Moss Stone, Endstone, Diamond, Iron, Gold, Lapis Lazuli and Emerald stairs, and maybe worked variants as well? More slabs when you get them coded properly, and the stairs already in Minecraft are called ____ Stairs, while the ones added in by this mod are called ______ Stair, without the s at the end.
If you have to move to Forge, go ahead, even though I think Forge is to big for just a modloading thing.
Yep. The archive has older versions, too, if you need those.
Anyways, I've just been getting used to how life works here, so I haven't been able to do too much. I think I'm on my feet now, though, so I'm going to start learning how forge works. I need it so I can create infinite sprite indices.
News! Because forge is all annoying and whatnot, I am going to rewrite much of the code from scratch. This may take a while. Alternatively, it may be done before I get to sleep tonight.

If you open Archive/Changelog and scroll down, under 1.8 it says:
So yeah, it's 1.3.2.
