Awesome! As soon as I figure this all out, this will be my number 1 favorite mod.
copy and paste this into a text file and rename it "item_youritemnamehere.cfg and set to all files, put this file into the config/items folder and put the texture into the mods/costomizer/customizer folder and presto! your done!
I'm not a great texturer, but I made my own "Clear Glass" (yeah yeah, it's been done before, I know). Its crafted by 2x2 square of glass and it gives 4 of them. The problem though, is when I place the Clear Glass, there's a shadow on the bottom of the transparent block. regular glass doesn't have this shadow....also it'd be nice if we could choose what our custom blocks sounded like when destroyed. Right now my Clear Glass just sounds like a stone block being mined. =/ Kinda wierd.
EDIT: Of course I fixed this right after I posted! >_< All I did was change the "opacity" to "0" and it got rid of the shadow! Hope this helps for others who might have this problem.
EDIT 2: Ok, I hate to post all the time and ask questions, sorry, but I was wondering if it was possible to make a new item that could be smelted from vanilla items. Like smelting an egg gets a fried egg. Am I missing an option somewhere that says something like "this item can be smelted from this item"? All I see is recipes, but I want a smelting recipe! =( Oh, and also I found a bug! If you have "smeltinginto" set to "-1" it will smelt it into stone. All your sample items smelt into stone.

Is there any way to make an ore that can only be mined by Iron tools, or higher? I changed the "hardness" of the ore block, but that only changed the amount of time needed to mine the ore block. Every ore I make can just be broken with an empty hand. Also, we need that "Material List".
