Lets get some conversation flowing with this thread again. I'd love to see some of the your builds that you are most proud of in your world. Maybe post a the blueprint code for others to use. (If my world wasn't corrupted from my switch to a new computer, I would share some of my stuff, but alas, it is no more.) It doesn't have to be an automated build, just something you wouldn't have been able to do without BTB.
I have a question about Mo' Creatures and Better than BuildCraft. In the compatability list over at BTB Wiki Mo' is listed as comapatible. But Mo' requires Forge and Forge interferes with the proper functioning of BTB.

I am confused. Any answers out there? Thanks!

it states version 2.12.2 which is very old as mo'creatures is at 3.6.2 and started using forge at 3.6.0. So unless you can find 2.12.2 you are out of luck. Even still that version wouldn't work with minecraft 1.2.5. So your out of luck regardless.
I need help getting BTB off of the hardcore bucket mode. I've tried changing the config file before installing the mod, but that doesn't seem to help me.

If you really don't want to use HCB, then make sure you use the BTB config instead of the BTW one.
It is really advised to have HCB on. When I started BTB I was also extremely reluctant to use it, and I remember struggling with it for the first few hours of playing. Once you get accostumed to the water mechanics your mind just automatically thinks to accomodate HCB in your projects. There are plenty of LP's where you can pretty much get the basics of HCB. There are also a lot of videos on youtube explaining water mechanics and how to design around them.
It is a lot of fun, I can guarantee that.
Yes I thank so as well it can be a pain at frist but once you get use to it, it can be fun trying to come up a way to move your water somewhere where you need and I think that where FC was going with it
So I decided to try out HCB mode. I spent a few hours spelunking, getting materials. When I went to the surface to start making pipes and mining wells and all that fun stuff, I found I couldn't get the recipes to work. The BTB wooden gear wouldn't work. I made the BTW gear and could convert it the buildcraft version, and I could upgrade it to the stone gear. After that I couldn't upgrade it to iron, I couldn't make anything else, no auto workbench, no engine, no pipes. I CAN make pipe waterproofing from cactus green. Please help me out.
Please read the OP fully. Iron gears are moved much higher in the tech tree, requiring soul-forged steel. The recipes for all the things you are trying to make are in the OP, as they are all changed. I believe that pipe waterproofing doesn't actually function, and is only kept in for the purposes of maintaining compatibility with buildcraft addons, similarly to the wooden and stone gears.
You're bang on with the above. I'm constantly surprised when people don't notice the huge number of recipes in the OP
This does in fact work with craftguide and craftguide's mini-mod, quick guide. They make the tech-tree easy to read. Just thought I'd mention that this mod that is incompatible with everything is compatible with a mod.
When playing in my creative test map working on a elevator if found a problem when recreating it with the builder when i made it my Pulleys head rope when it started to place the pulleys rope was coming out of them
with out rope in them this was strange so i ignored it. so i went on testing my elevator well i found out that my rope was moving to fast so i dissidence to replace my pulleys when i broke one a rope block showed up and
broke and repeats so rope just keeps falling and falling.
Ok...if you say so. Personally, I tend to think of "big bugs" (in all caps no less) as ones that crash your game repeatedly, or corrupt save games, but whatever floats your boat.

Could you try rephrasing that in a coherent fashion? I can barely understand what you're saying. All I can gather from the above is that something odd happens with ropes when you place a Pulley with a Builder.

I can, yes, but I won't because I feel it is better to force people to try HCB instead of taking the easy way out.

There is this install guide linked in the OP. Try that.
Also, just saying you messed up doesn't do **** in helping us, help you.
Full install instructions are found in the readme included with the download, but yes, it requires BuildCraft.
