Hello, this mod isn't compatible with other operating systems. Could you maybe make a mac or linux version? This would be VERY HELPFUL!
Thanks, -ehamawy
I've tested the mod with Linux and it works. First though you need to get Linux to recognize that there is Joystick plugged in. That is something you'd need to set up before trying to use this mod. I don't have details on how to do this so you'd need to google it.
I've heard of people getting it to work on Mac too.
This mod doesnt work for me here is my crash report and maybe someone can help me.

Currently 1.8 has a bug that one cannot play lan local, however it is fixed in the later 1.8 versions. So as soon as 1.8+ forge comes out we can again play like that, howerver it is not a problem in the 1.7 versions or lower. So the problem is not Demo-version but a 1.8 bug.
I have a problem, I installed correctly and mod appears with all stuff in options menu however i am using wireless 360 controller with an adapter as it works in other games but it wont pick it up in this. i tried the calibration but nothing worked. i then tried with wired controller and same thing. it is also set to 360 controller and is on in options menu but wont work. Is there a way to fix this?
Once you select your joypad you have to "turn it on" by clicking the big button that has your joypad name.
Does local lan still work if I use IP to connect? Say direct connect to 127.0.0.1 so I can still use split screen on 1.8.
Has anyone figured out an easy way to quick launch past the launcher? The only way I know of currently ruins any chances of playing online by saving the authentication info and files for local.
It just doesnt work for me no matter which forge i download it comes up with an error i tried the older version for 1.5 but it showed up with the error fo r the launch frame and i downloaded the minecraft jar its still doesnt work at all
T_T no matter which button/axis I set, I CAN'T PICK A BLOCK!!! I'M FOREVER STUCK WITH THE FIRST INVENTORY SLOT!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! T_T T_T T_T
ok, nvm, I'm just a derp. XD
I was trying to use set it with the "pick block" not the "inventory <-" and "inventory ->" XD XD XD it works fine now
It works on mac computers I have it on mine but I can only get the controller to work for my windows laptop because you need to install the driver for the controller you are using and I was using an Xbox 360 controller but if you can find a driver for Xbox 360 controllers for Mac and or Linux you could most likely get it working unless something is wrong with the computer or the controller I believe if you search online you could possibly find a Mac Xbox controller driver.
I'm using the PS3 controller that came with my PS3.
But I have never been able to get my ps3 controller to work in minecraft.
When I plug the controller in, windows gives me the usb audible tone and Device manager also shows "HID Compliant Game controller"
Issue:
When I set my PS3 Controller to <ON> in Minecraft Options\Controls the ps3 controller doesn't work in the game at all.....AND.... while the controller is still set to <ON> then the mouse can then only roll my minecraft dude 180 Degrees in any direction. So then I go back to Options\Controls in Minecraft and set the PS3 controller to <OFF> and when I return to the game I find that the mouse has regained full 360 degree control.
the video doesn't work but i checked the website on the thread and it explains it
it's supposed to work with any usb controller
I am trying to use my Xbox one controller on it I have the driver and it recognizes my controller on the selection screen for the usb thing I think it might be because I am using the usb thing from the xbox one stereo adapter would that have anything to do with it it plugs into my laptop and into my xbox one controller and my one controller has the light on RIGHT HERE IS THE ISSUE I FORGOT TO TYPE IT BEFORE It doesn't do anything whether it is on the menu or in game please help
Well this is embarrassing but it works now... thanks for the awesome mod I just had to relaunch it

however It's worked only ver 1.7.10. (no worked 1.7 and 1.8)
and I got Minecraft few min ago, I'll enjoy with my family

Hello all
at first, I'm sorry to my not right English....
I don't buy the Minecraft yet, because I didn't know that is can play Off-lince-SplitScreen-Coop with MOD so far.
Today, I got an information about this great MOD !!
and question here,
Can I play LAN-Coop with this MOD on DEMO-Version ?
I'd try it with some versions of MOD and Forge today (v1.8, 1.7.10 and 1.7.2)
however, I could not connect to local server game ......(P1 to P2, P2 to P1 too)
A result of a searching a local-host was RIGHT,
but got error message 'Failed to connect to the Server - Failed to Login : Invalid session(Try restarting game)' then can't play.
Is a cause of that is DEMO-version so ?
I'm going to buy the Minecraft if Split-screen Coop(local play) is possible for me
Thanks

Did you do that?
Make sure you are using the correct version of Forge installed from http://files.minecraftforge.net/
Looks like maybe you are using Joypad 1.8 and the wrong version of Forge. Try the latest version of Forge and see if that works.
Edit: This was a reply to globesk8rr
Is there a way to edit the x, y, and z, axis thing? Like, how do I set the look -> to be x + (or whatever) instead of y +?

Hi,
Been at this for a couple hours.
Really Excited about this.
Really hoping someone can help.
Thanks....
How do we get on screen hints like the ones in the photo? I cant seem to find the option....
Those are only in the pre-forge versions of the mod.
After they remade the mod for forge they did not implement that again.
So if you play 1.5 or earlier than you will have them.
