I just found out that 1.3 requires all mods to become SMP or it won't work so SMP will be in 1.3 Minecraft for sure. Just a side note

Well I never tried Mystacraft so not surprised if things are not compatible. Remember the time has to be afternoon in order for conflagration to work or it fails to concentrates.
Fantastic update. Enjoying lighting up the night sky with a conflagration bomb/missile.
Don't know if this is a bug or not but when a contagious explosive goes off, villagers and pigs in the immediate area of the blast, no longer transform into zombies(pigmen). The mobs are immune to it, like it says in the changelog, but nobody mutates into them when the bomb initially goes off.
Hmm about contagious I will look into it... Does nuclear mutate mobs? (outside explosion radius in the radioactive zone)
The conflagration explosive is very cool, but also very laggy : I get critical amount of lag by exploding it even if I allocate 2.6GB of RAM to minecraft
One thing I'm starting to think might be a benefit would be a biohazard suit of some sort, for both cleaning up nuclear fallout and as a little bit of protection from viruses/chemical etc. If not for that, at least for the nuclear fallout, since it is hard to clean when you're dying from painful cancer's/radiations.
Ideas on how it could work could be that the longer you keep in in a contagious/radiated area, it deterioates and must be 'fixed'/'cleaned' or even recreated to keep protection. That way you can't be invincible from radiation/chemical/contagious warfare, but you're not completely vulnerable either.
You can discard it if you wish, I honestly love bio-hazard suits.
After Testing for 10 minutes, I found a few.....questionable issues:
1.The nuclear explosive does not evaporate water anymore? Not sure if I like that, since it makes a huge crater in the ocean, but barely affects the look of the ocean since the crater only appears on the floor....Your call, but still....
2. Conflagration Explosives are godlike, but since tree's are high up, and the rest of it burns to the ground, when the bark turns to netherrack, it leaves floating blocks that are kinda OCD eye sores....once again, not a 'bug', but it bothered me enough to comment it.
3. Some of the explosives seem overpowered to be able to be grenades. Examples are nuclear and conflagration explosives. Also, if you decide to keep the nuclear grenades, it makes an alarm go off, which doesn't seem to fit with the simplistic design of a grenade. Hard to explain, but grenades usually just toss = profit. Not sure if they should have an alarm in it or whatnot...
Anyways, good work. Most of my complaints are just my opinion, I'll continue testin' it!

Biohazard suits are going to be added but not part of ICBM. They will be in a mod called Underground Bunkers Mod which is a mod that ICBM is working with. The job of Underground Bunkers mod is to add walls and walls of defense to prevent missiles from destroying your base and armor/suits preventing radiation and such. Go to their page and spam him requesting for the radiation suit if you want it to be done fast

2. Hmm it only burns things above grass block. Going to change that then.
3. All grenades are nerfed if you noticed (smaller radius nukes and stuff) and they are going to be more expensive so it won't be worth using them as grenades.

Did some more testing. It looks as if villagers mutate with the contagious explosives but pigs don't. I see that with the villagers, you gave them a chance of mutating as when I infected myself and passed to the villagers, a couple turned into zombies.

I got pretty much the same configuration, but I have to say that this is almost the only one that really lag me, and just when it get close to the character. But, try it out yourself : go cheat or creative so you don't die and go in the center of a conflagration explosion, and you will see

Yeah it lags me too if you are in the center of course. You have to render all the block flying next to you....
I uh, left minecraft on for about an hour and came back to it, and all I can say is...
Mother of god. The lag was beyond lag, I was getting -5 FPS. I'm not sure what happened, so I managed to save & exit and then return and instead had about 15 - 20 fps. I swear to god it's the UE electronics and wires creating it. After using it for quite awhile, I keep getting the feeling that the circuits have some sort of loop where is causes FPS hiccups and general FPS reduction. I don't think it's the actual ICBM mod, however I could be wrong. Maybe look into it? I might just have a craptop, but it works fine until I start using wires and generators. Then it goes downhill....
Oh and thanks for reviewing my comment, I never noticed reduce effeciency on grenades, thanks for pointing it out!
EDIT: Wierd thing just happened, I placed wires through a small pond and then broke one of the wires in the pond and all of the wires surrounded by the water suddenly burst into flames and dissappeared.
EDIT2: Just deleted the wires and the devices that use UE, and suddenly 60 fps. :I
Probably should have waited before adding all these edits, but there you go. I'm gonna continue testing to figure out if it's the wires, the device, or the generators that do the most FPS dmg...

- Added basic nuclear explosive block resistence calculation
- Added throwable grenade version of each explosive
- Added most features for the radar with map display and missile detection settings

- Added laser designator and light beam effect for laser targeted location
- Added more poison effects to contagious and chemical explosive such as blindness and confusion
- Added visual effect for gravity blocks to spin and rotate
- Added sound effects for contagious, chemical and incendiary explosive to sound more cinematic
- Added radiation defense compatiblity with the Underground Bunkers Mod
- Cleaned up some more explosion calculations and reduced lag slightly
- Upgrade texture resolution to 32x32 with some major texture changes
- Changed radioactive block's texture to not be the same a mycelium
- Increased default block ID to be higher than 256 (39800 range)
- Fixed radar to be more than one block big
- Fixed zombies and zombie pigmen to be immune to chemical and contagious explosives
- Fixed chemical and contagious explosive crashing the world saves
If there are any big bugs tell me and I will release a patch tomorrow. Otherwise, next release will be on next Friday.-
