Wish loot mod was updated, do you think you could make it open source so someone else can? Seems 100% positive you're not going to do anything with it anytime soon. I'm not a coder myself but I just hope that someone could update it seeing as you probably wont.

why are people stuck in the past 1.7 is SOOOO old!!
There is a lot of content on 1.7 and no real initiative to update simply because Mojang decides to push a minor tweak to the game engine and break everything. Is it worth it to 'update' so you can get "polar bears" and lose fantastic & great Mods (many of which can add much better polar bears)?
Many Modders have been slow to update in 1.8 -1.9 because of (I think) having to completely rewrite most of their code for compatibility.

Quite a substantial amount of modders have quit because of the massive code re-write and update to minecraft from 1.7.10 to 1.9 .. However mods are still being done an a lot being re-written for 1.9.4//1.10 but its more a case of its simpler to update then to essentially re-write the ntire mod from scratch so it gets abandoned due to modders having restrictions based IRL. At this stage an with multiple smaller version releases of MC planned up untill 1.14 The modding scene is going to be massively diverse, but there is quite a lot of great mods coming in for 1.10.2
You've awoken on this barren wasteland planet, a civilization once ruled and proud, but where is everyone? All the buildings are empty, nothing remains, all that can be seen is mass hordes in all directions of zombies, skeletons and other creatures never before seen. Inside isn't safe, Outside isn't safe, what will u do to survive this planet and escape? Can you survive the 1st day without death claiming you?
There is no natural light, when night time comes it's pitch black, no moon light and all that is heard is the scratching and moaning of whats around lurking to destroy you. Mining reveals unbeknownst horrors from the rocks just waiting to come out and devour your soul. Puddles of liquid blue or purple are not water, but also intent on harming you.
Agreed! Still hoping he'll update it, I loved using it to craft a proper hostile experience for minecraft. Not sure if he intends to eventually update, if not I will likely reach out to him and offer to update it.

It was true to the vanilla experience (which I liked a lot); only Special Mobs and Primitive Mobs were on my list because of that.
If he isn't able to update it, it would be amazing if he gave you permission as well as if you were up for updating it yourself.
Ok! I got a problem I hope you can help me with. There seems to be a bug with Special IA, Better Breeds and Hungry Animals, but it shows as you play, so you can’t notice it immediately. The thing is, let’s see…suppose you go into creative and spawn 6 sheep. You leave them be, and when you return there are 24 sheep. You killed them all since you don’t want any lag. Now comes the weird thing, you go to do your things (farming, mining, etc..), when you return to the “sheep massacre spot” there are around 12 sheep in the same place you spawned the first 6! I made sure I didn’t left a couple of sheep so they could breed again (fun fact: I don’t know who did this, but for some reason, as you start killing the sheep, most of them go into hiding under bushes or caves [I use Biomes O’ Plenty]) That’s my issue.[/p]
I tried to create a “natural” population controller (I spawned wolves around the spot, just in case) but the sheep owned them :/ . I had to resort to Polar bears (Mo’ Creatures) but still the sheep are strong![/p]
Thus I got a request, can you modified the wolves so it can attack anything, sheep, pigs, chicken and cows! I realized that cows nor pigs have natural enemies in Minecraft, which can turn into a very bad situation if these mods are added. [request for Special AI modder][/p]
Another thing, maybe slow down the breeding process or make animals sensible to cold or hot biomes, so the population is controlled much quicker, since it seems as soon as they eat, they want to have some…”fun” [to the Modders of Better Breedings and Hungry Animals][/p]
Hello! Can someone help me? How do I implement the Special AI effects to Mo' Creatures mobs? [I need an example...if you do it with the bunny, I will be grateful!]
Is there any plans to update "Natural Absorbtion" to 1.11? I really like that mod and am really missing it now. I use it in conjunction with "Tough as Nails" because heart crystals are supper difficult to get in TAN.
Hope a dev is reading this, and if you are, could you please, Please, PLEASE update "Lava Monsters" too 1.11. I loved that mod so much when I used to play 1.7.10.

I love the Custom Chest Loot mod for adding modded items to blacksmith, dungeon, mineshaft, etc. chests. The only problem I've encountered is that I can not get an item to have a custom name. I see
in the wiki: http://fathertoast.wikia.com/wiki/Custom_Chest_Loot
that it is possible but I can't figure out the formatting. I've even checked my formatting with a JSON format checker and it looks fine. But minecraft crashes due to an incorrectly formatted dungeonChest.json config file. Could anyone show me the right way?
Here's an example from the JSON file of an item I would like to add a custom name to (works fine as is but want to add the custom name to this):
I did a little looking around with SpecialAI and I had a couple questions.
1) Can you use it to program a regenerative effect on an enemy that is on fire? I created a Fire Zombie (has fire resistance and therefore much more dangerous during the day). What I would want to do is to A) have the Zombie regen health when on fire and B ) move faster when on fire.
2) Again towards the first point, is there a way to make a enemy like the Fire Zombie actually be attracted to lava, and avoid water? I'm guessing this is a no, but it would be a cool concept.
3) Would it be possible to "cure" a mob? For example, have a Mad Cow. If you throw a healing potion at it, it becomes a regular cow. Is this even a possibility? Basically to change its state from aggressive to passive with a item in your inventory. This would be like doing the reverse of the neutral to aggressive state.

All of my public mods are open source on GitHub.

Will there be a 1.10 version?
Other than that, can't wait to try it out in the current version!
Also, here's a small suggestion: turn off friendly fire for Turrets (they shouldn't be able to hit each other).

Please, update SpecialMobs mod to newer versions. This is one of the best mob-mods I have ever seen.

P.S: The spawn eggs I have in my hand are from: Mammoths and wolves [I don't want people to have wrong ideas about my issue with the farm animals :/ ]

Has anyone figured out how to do Tinker's Construct tools in Custom Chest Loot? Would be greatly appreciated if someone could give me some new light.
