I think flying is an important feature! To keep it true to the vampire theme I believe being able to transform into a bat is necessary and would allow you to fly + fit in 1x1 holes.
If I may make a sugestion? Perhaps the player should have a way to protect themselfs from the sun, such as wearing a full suit of leather armor.

The added danger of daylight alone is really cool! Have the only accepted food be blood and flesh non cooked will be good. No major desire to make vamp slaves or too crazy on the special powers; these just cause lag and end up being OP. The majority of players just want the added challenge and alteration of game style XD
