hmm just checked again today look like its one of my coremods causing the issues....

Geh. That's not the first time I've encountered that kind of problem, unfortunately. Pity that the vanilla eye-height isn't defined as 0.9 * height, and the mouth/"reaching-from" height as 5/6 * height, instead of hard-coded as 1.62m and 1.5m respectively (for a normal 1.8m Minecrafter.) That could mess with some mods that change the player model, though; I'm not sure what'd work for a long-term solution.
I downloaded this mod ages ago, before all the nifty things you could do with items. I came back to it just yesterday, after thining about playing Vechs Super Hostile Maps. Currently, I'm going to be attempting Vech's maps while at 1/8th size. Honestly, I thought it was going to be overall easier, but spiders are the bane of my existance!
Awesome mod, and I hope you keep going with it. This is my Minecraft dream come true XD
Or something like that, we need some kind of fan object to go with the paper glider.
Already have something planned to do with dispensers at some point.
Meanwhile, have you tried the fishing rod? Or, in the "features you probably haven't noticed yet" department, see what happens if you stand next to Lava, Fire or an active Furnace while holding Paper (try when you're extra-tiny, the effect is more obvious then.)

Glad you're enjoying it again
(Bit of a tangent here, but I seriously don't get people who think that I've dropped the mod - I mean, I did a release less than 3 weeks ago, it's not like I've been ignoring it. The code changes in MC 1.6 are fairly complex, not to mention the distractions by bouts of illness and/or work projects that make actual money so that we can pay the bills next month... Like, is a month 10 millennia in internet years or something?)

This mod is too awesome to merely dropped, and not be spammed for the next year asking for a reboot or someone asking for permission to reboot, yaddayaddablargaflargayadda

If you want to have your tools scale down with you, try the Animated Player mod. For some random reason it scales the tools and items whether you're tiny or giant, but unfortunately gets rid of the animations that you get from using lilypads, paper, etc., added by the Gulliver's mod. Small price to pay for items that actually fit in your hand

Yeah, the Animated Player Mod overrides any other player model & animation, including ones added by other mods; it says so on its forum post. Not sure what I can do about that at this time, so you'll just have to miss out on the comically-resized held items and gliding/rafting animations.
By the way, making items you hold look bigger/smaller to you is a feature, not a bug Tool use and effect gets adjusted based on your size whether they're rendered properly on the client or not, so it's not like that tool is actually sized to you when you use Animated Player, it just isn't getting rendered to look bigger/smaller than the player.
i found a little bug its not that big but i was using the furniture mod and whenever i sit on a chair, couch etc it starts to shake and spazz
out even when im normal size. oh and is 1.6.2 coming soon or are you just waiting for 1.7. thanks

Hrm, might be some collision-box issues, I'm not sure how it works to "ride" a block.
And 1.6.2 will be released when it's ready. Thanks for the extra day

Beats me. I haven't had a chance to work on it for the last week or so, due to the sort of stuff I mentioned in an earlier post I'm not giving any rough dates if I don't have any yet. But since you insist, fine, at this point I could say the update would be sometime before the end of the year. I won't say more than that until there's enough done for me to make a reasonable estimate. Happy now? Also, days++
What do you mean with 'reasonable estimate'? Is it when you've acknowledged the art of 1.6.2 Forge codes and inner workings of 1.6.2 MC?

To be more helpful here is a tutorial of how to get things working with the new launcher
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1958230-using-the-new-launcher-with-152-forge-to-the-fullest/
Cool, I'll take a look at that tutorial when I have a chance. Explaining how to install the mod's gotten a lot more complicated...
