Forgive my ignorance but how do you install the forge version on the server? It's throwing modloader errors at me. (Despite me having both forge and modloader)

Please reply I want clear waters and coral for my aquarium!!!
You have a BlockID conflict between the Aether and Coral Reefs - go into your config files and change them. The Coral Reef configs are found in the \mods\coralreef folder as settings.txt (or change the BlockID in the Aether config files, whatever works best). As far as I can tell, Coral Reefs works with the 4096IDs fix that's integrated with Forge 152, so you shouldn't have issues finding room (though if errors pop up, it's generally safe to move any blockIDs that *don't* naturally spawn in the world above 255, namely Aether machines/decorative blocks).
So I would love to be able to use this mod with Mo' Creatures, since that makes for an all around better Ocean experience. But whenever I load both of them in together, the coral doesn't show up on my map. (both the blocks and the droppable blocks). I can still pick them up and place them, but they are invisible, both in my inventory and on the map. (I know they are there because the name "Coral" still pops up over the box I have it equipped in.)
I tried changing the block ID (even though I knew this probably wasn't the problem) and sure enough, it did not fix my issue.
Does anyone know how I can fix this? I would really love to enjoy Coral Reef with Mo'Creatures. I think they are a beautiful duo.
Thanks in advance.

I didn't have an issue when I tested MoC 3.7.1 with the Forge version of Coral Reefs, either SSP or SMP. The base requirements for Coral & MoC are Forge (152 works best), GUIAPI and Custom Mob Spawner. Once Forge and GUIAPI are in the .jar, drop the Custom Mob Spawner, MoC and Coral Reef packages in the \mods folder (create one if it's not there, in the \.minecraft directory) and boot Minecraft. If that works, just start adding your other mods one by one until you find the conflict.
will you continue the forge version that would be awesome
forge now uses one file for both server and client and so would your mod then http://jenkins.minec.../job/forge/208/
Forge version would be boss (though using 204 would make more sense). It's a relatively new development though, and I'm sure this mod would need some serious rejiggering to work with new Forge, so it's probably a matter of time to make it work. MCNostalgia is your friend

I'm working on updating it to work with the new version of Forge.
I am getting a generic error when i try to run coralreef on a 1.3.2 server with forge 4.1.1.251 and FML 3.0.196.366 but it will run on the client side fine as far as i can tell and removing it from the server causes the server to boot successfully.
Could someone offer some pointers as to what I might have done wrong or if I am just incorrect in assuming that it was a universal version that would work on the server and client?

I'm working on a version specifically for Forge,
I'll release it ASAP.
Will the coral mod have its own sprite sheet when updated for forge? It seems that when they have individual sprites I have rendering issues with other mods that have sprites the same way. No issues with mods that use there own sprite sheets.
The coral mod completely changes the waters in Minecraft. Amazing mod.
This is just an awesome mod. I've always been wanting Minecraft to have more underwater, and this really helps. Now, if it only included a new ocean biome gen code, it would be epic!
By the way, how on Earth did you get plants to be placed underwater without breaking or making air pockets? I'm making a mod, and I was thinking about implementing something similar, so if you could help, that would be great.

If I have enough time I might be able to do it for the next version.

If you have a look at the source code (specifically BlockCoral.java),
you'll notice the line "super(var1, Material.water);"
Basically, the coral is counted as being water, so there are no air pockets.

Will you be working on a 1.3 version in the future?
There are guides for that if you look around

I re-uploaded it to Dropbox, use the 'mirror' link to download.

No, sorry.
I hope to get around to it soon.
I started working on MoreTrees a while ago, but it's not done yet.
Parts of it still need to be re-written.
