I like this idea, diamond should be harder to get, and there should be another way to get magic... maybe something less rare than glowstone though. Something in the regular world. maybe you craft it out of lapiz and redstone? Lapiz is rare though... hmm something magical... bonemeal? Just brainstorming.
ill start brainstorming ideas for something. when i come up with something, ill be sure to post it and see what you all think.
if you have ideas pm them to me, otherwise there is a fairly small chance that i will remember what they are
I suggest not changing the difficulty to get diamonds, because obsidian powder is hard enough to obtain, and eventually we're going to run out of redstone.

Maybe a way to multiply redstone... but not a crafting recipe, or a farming material... redstone making machine? Requires magic to run, but for every magic put in, it takes 10 mins to multiply by 10?
Wait... what about a new magic mob that drops magic? Eh?
It would drop 0-5 magic and a chance of an enchanted magic sword?
Wow. I used this mod a while back but couldn't find it once i upgraded to 1.2.5, lots of new stuff. Dig it. Any chance we can get a recipe for glowstone? Maybe glass + magic powder or something to make glowstone. I know when i go into the nether 90% of the glowstone is way, way too hard to get. (100+ blocks of nothing but lava to get to it, etc)
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Just a dude that's into Minecraft that's always looking for new texture packs, mods, etc.

there is a recipe for GlowStone powder, i just forgot to add it to the post when i updated everything. sorry about that.
Also, I have found a glitch with the Thunder Blade and the Ultimate Thunder Blade:
As far as I have been able to tell, it is impossible to use the lightning feature of the blades without hurting yourself. Im going to try and work it out. I'll let you know what it come up with.
I rate this mod 3/5 Not bad though. The thing is the mod is super easy to make like 2/5 (Novice) difficulty and it is supposed to be 'Useful Cobble' not 'Usefull Cobble' and make the mod bigger like Magic Blaze, Mages, Staffs and all that. Its just like Cobble-Magic mod but Magic is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY weighted in this mod than cobble so make it balanced or make cobble weigh more than your 'Fancy Magic' pls.
Thank you.
P.S you might stop making those magic stuff for now.
COOL MOD I already tried this mod it's like EE2 But its pretty cool
[LE Sugestion] try making something REALLY ORIGINAL (maybe add a new mob? add more nether stuff) Anything with some FLARE or REALLY ORIGNAL. anyways GREAT MOD
(why is the text smaller? than the first 2 words?)
I have some suggestions.
1) Make armor sets, and finish the tool sets (I hate seeing blast iron shovels and swords without picks, hoes, and axes lol)
2) Make some more endgame stuff, possible use ender materials?
3) Allow more things to be made. e.g. lapis, glowstone
4) Balance! The metal things are, I hate to say it, WAY overpowered.
5) Possibly make a really, really retarded and expensive (In early game terms) to make redstone? Like 6 Cobble into one compressed cobble, 4 of these to one super cobble, 4 of these for one redstone?
6) A new way to get cobble. I hate mining , , ,and ruin my day, although I am not a bad fighter
I forgot to add this:
7) Fix Netherrack powder, it is burning forever, and even if that is intended it isn't really good for the game
8) Gunpowder recipe. 'Nuff said
9) Make blast staves work, I tried them before they were removed through the use of chickenbones's NEI and they did work pretty well, just need to texture the projectiles
10)Glowstone as a powder, it would fit with the "nether materials" theme and it is already a dust in vanilla
All in all, however, I really like this mod.

1. I have been thinking about making armor for a while, but since you mentioned it, i will definitely do it.
With the incomplete tool sets, I did it on purpose, but if you want complete sets, I'll think about it.
2. that is a good idea, never thought about it, but i will start working on something
3. there is a recipe for Glowstone Dust, which can be turned into glowstone, and thanks for reminding me about the lapis, I've been
meaning to add it for a while, I just keep forgetting.
4. I have already fixed the metals, they will be in the new upcoming release.
5. I will think about it, but part of using the redstone is so that you have to at least find some materials before you can start making stuff.
6. I have been brain storming different ways to do something like that, just not sure what to do yet.
7. I'll check that out, but you might want to check, because it was made to smelt 5000 blocks. (if you think that is overpowered, let me know)
8. I'll work on that, if you have any ideas, tell me.
9. I might, but it probably won't be exactly the same as it was before.
10. I'm not sure what you mean on this one.
EDIT: I have added the rest of the tools into the partial sets, i have also added a gunpowder recipe.
I am going to start working on the armor sets next. The next release will probably come out after I finish them.
Okay For 7, yeah, it is a bit overpowered, considering one netherrack makes 4 powder and you can find netherrack is about as common as cobble in the nether.
For 10, Glowstone dust is a nether material, which already has a dust form. I meant to add for example, a new recipe for gold where you use glowstone dust instead of obsidian dust. It is already a dust so you wouldn't even need to add a new item.

ok, that makes more sense
and for the netherrack powder: do you suggest that i make each block make less powder, or make each powder smelt less?
ha ha cool man but this does not have alot to do with cobble anyway its a great mod!!!!!!!
it used to be entirely about the cobblestone but has since drifted away from it somewhat.
I am still trying to think of a new suitable name for the mod.
