When I installed Stalker Creepers to my minecraft with Forge. It did not work. The game was fine but stalker creepers was not working. I put the Stalker creepers jar file in my coremods folder but nothing. Can someone help?
I really love how creepers now hide behind trees and stuff. (Unless that was a feature that I never noticed)
Open the zip file. Open the setup folder. copy and paste the two folders into the .minecraft folder.
I did but it did nothing.
EDIT:
Could it be conflicting with another mod?
I have Divine RPG, Mutant Creatures, TF2 Teleporters, HUDini, Nether Ores and MultiMine.
Oh and of course Forge.
EDIT 2: When I do what he said it installs the update checker but not Stalker creepers.
It's probably Mutant Creatures or Divine RPG or another mod that adds new mobs that may mess with creepers.
Nope thats not it I uninstalled them all and only used it, still didn't work.
I don't think thats the problem Stalker creepers does not even show up in forge.
It doesn't show up in forge, but it's still there. Open a map, turn your back on a creeper, enter 3rd person view and see if the creeper is either behind you doing nothing or camping behind a tree.
Ok so I went on survival spawned a creeper and backed up a little later it walked a small amount and blew up normally.
Also Forge when you click the (MODS) button in mincraft game Stalker creepers is not there.

Don't worry, you're not crazy, I'm having the same exact problem...
Minecraft 1.4.5
Forge 6.4.1.413
FML 4.5.11.470
Creepers dont creep, just catch up and detonate as per vanilla minecraft.
Doesn't show up in mods in client, and I tried both local client SSP "server" and SMP "true server" neither SSP OR SMP functions with stalking creepers. Loads fine, no error, no crash, just doesn't do jack.
Your client doesn't mention having the mod anywhere at all, and you did not install it correctly on server.
Try opening the zip and looking around in it.
Actually the client does, apparently i posted the wrong log, i have several and no idea why. and Seriously? I have 37 mods installed before yours... and yours is the only one that isn't working... The zip contains the SC.jar in coremods, so i placed it in core mods... should work just fine... dynamic lights is working so why isn't sc? I'm quite capable of adding a jar to a folder...
Dude, your lack of understanding is mind boggling...
I extracted the jar from coremods in the zip to coremods on the client. Its not rocket science. I did the same thing for DynamicLights and it works just fine. Those lines ARE in the server logfile that you failed to check. They're there and the correct mod file is in the correct folder I even took a screenshot for you... quit being dense...
Here yet again is the server log that I will be more than happy to compliment with a client log as soon as I get home. http://pastebin.com/fp85cE5E
Not working on fresh, untouched copy of minecraft 1.4.6.
MC 1.4.6
Forge 6.5.0.470
FML 4.6.12.511
Installed forge to minecraft.jar and added stalkercreepers 1.4.6 from coremods in zip to coremods in minecraft folder. Nothing else.

Indeed it does. Reason for PD (Premature Detonation) was not allowing enough distance between myself and the creeper. 1.4.5 is working as expected so sorry for the confusion there, HOWEVER, I noticed in 1.4.6 the creepers sneak up behind you, and then circle you to try and make you look at them. They do initially come up behind you, then semi-slowly circle you. Is this an intentional change? Shown below are 1.4.5 and 1.4.6 (creeper was mid-circling me in the 1.4.6 and blew up a few seconds after the ss.)
Edit: To be very specific, it isn't a movement error on my part, they do come right up behind you, eyes to the back of your head, but mine start to slowly walk to one side or the other and circle me.
Maybe it was a fluke a few times, but it is working accordingly now. Excellent mod. Now creepers do what they'r'a sup'osed ta do! Creep!
Oh no a creepers coming! What do I do???? *creeper gets closer and begins to hiss* AAAAGGGHHH!!!!! *grabs waffles out of toaster* Take the waffle! TAKE IT!!!!!!! ;_; *throws waffle* ---------> [: :] lives to fight and toast waffles another day...
I find it wierd, it doesn't works for me, I've put the StalkerCreeper_1.4.6 file in my coremods folder and it doesn't work. What did I miss? And just to tell, I run around 75 mods now and Stalker Creeper was one of the firsts I tested, when I had around 2 mods. Didn't work at that moment too.
PS: could you possibly make like a compliation of all youre mods in one? that would be AWESOME!
I did but it did nothing.

Any thoughts on this anyone? Stryker?
How am I supposed you give you a crash or error log when it is neither crashing nor providing errors...
Here's the forge logs incase that's what you're referring to, be prepared... as i use 38 mods:
