I know Minecraft isn't perfect, you know Minecraft isn't perfect.
I'm making a few fixes/enhancements to the game, and figured I'd release them.
NOTE: Some of these mods are modified Notch files. I do not guarantee compatibility, but it will work with ModLoader and ModLoader mods (provided they don't override Notch classes)
Model Fixes:
Features:
Fixes all baby animals to have proportional heads
Makes villagers look human
Makes baby chickens have a "chick" skin
Includes an info file so you can adjust what you want
Mod Review:
Note: The hearts not showing up in this review is from the user's client having something wrong. Hearts should still show up unless you contaminated your Jar with another incompatible mod.
If anyone wants the clock mod I made (as seen in the pictures in the bottom right), I can upload that too. It shows the time shown on your computer. I made it so I can play full screen and still see the time.
Love the model fixes, but what kind of skin should the modified villagers use? Player-sized?
Also, I'd love to have the clock mod if you decide to share it. So easy to lose track of time while mining!
I just added the clock mod to the original post.
Also, you just use regular skins for NPCs, yes. I don't know about armor overlay, but it should work.
If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to post them. I'm getting much better at using ModLoader, and adding various elements to the game, such as mobs, animated/dynamic blocks (tile entities), and custom rendering of the mentioned elements.
Hey man i made a mod review on this, it isnt my greatest mod review but its my 2nd one ever so im still learning about mod reviews and the like but heres a link to the review i did you, good mod btw
Thanks for the review.
By the way, the hearts thing must be on your client, because it works fine on mine. Try using a clean JAR then installing ModLoader, then this.
2 Things;
Does the durability warning work for every item, because it doesn't work for the stone axe?
Also can you have a choice between the ingame time and real time?
It's supposed to work for any item, even mod items. It's likely just hard to see the coloring on the stone axe.
Also, the clock is only real time. I don't plan on making an in-game time clock, because there is already an item for that, which would defeat the purpose of the item, and ruin the game (I think).
pls add a config for the clock mod where you can edit the time to 24 hours and reposition it.
Sure thing. I'll make it configurable in-game. Like you toggle though 12-hour, 24-hour, and off by using the clock key.
The positioning idea, I will add support for very soon.
Do you want it to be like:
Top-Left
Top
Top-Right
Right
Bottom-Right
Bottom
Bottom-Left
Left
Because that would be the best way I think.
You would just modify a config file to change the direction using identifiers such as TL, T, TR, etc.

If someone wishes to make a Mod Review, I will replace the pictures with it. Just post the link in the comments.

+rep for you

Villagers now have new skins for the new models.
Cleaner Debug cleans up the server debug for the initial messages. See screenshots for more detail.

You would just modify a config file to change the direction using identifiers such as TL, T, TR, etc.
Now you can go between 3 time modes: 12-Hour Time (AM/PM), 24-Hour Time, and Off
Hence why the title also says "Enhancements". Things that enhance a user's experience.
Added a config file for the clock mod, so you can save the last viewing mode.
Expect configurable positioning in the next update.
Edit: AND 1.2.5, I hate how releases come so quick... all mods don't catch up fast enough or in time.
