a few questions, because I really like the looks of this. one: is this a forge mod? this is the stupidest question ever, but I would like to know because I won't be able to use it if it isn't. two: assuming yes to question one, if I have other mods that add ores, will those ores still generate? question three: still assuming question one, will trees and biomes added by other mods still generate? and question four: no questions left. thanks for any answers.
EDIT: question one is stupid, I scrolled up half a page and saw that it was. sorry. but my other questions still stand.
I cant get it to generate any BWG4 worlds on multiplayer for 1.6.4. On the multiplayer server text file, I put the level typ[e to BWG4 and it only generates vanilla 1.6.4 worlds. Any idea what I am doing wrong? I know it is something to do with the level type.

4. Start Minecraft(client) and create a new world.
5. Select the bwg4 worldtype.
6. Click on the customize button.
7. Select a generatortype you like.
8. Click on "Copy generator-settings to Clipboard".
9. Open the server.properties file.
10. Set level-type to "BWG4".
11. Paste the generator settings at "generator-settings=".

This mod looks great, and I use it as my default minecraft style, but I have one question.
I have a world from beta 1.6. I used it in the current release, and the biomes got all messed up.
When I load it in BWG4, the game thinks that the world was generated in the current release and doesn't change the settings.
Is there a way to fix it? I have NBTexplorer and tried it to fix the world, but it didn't change anything
If this is unfixable, There should be an option to edit an existing world's config and generator settings in the game.
PS:
I tried using NBT explorer and pasting the generator options that I got from making a new beta world and clicking "copy generator settings to clipboard". I then used NBTexplorer to put those settings ("Beta:Beta") into the section of the level.dat that was called "generatorName" without the quotes.
Sorry for the really long response.
what about the thaumcraft magical forest biome, or ars magica witchwood forest, or any other mod forests? I really like your mod after using it for a while,so I would like to make sure it works with the other mods I use. thank you very much for your time.
Hello! I was wondering since 1.7, if BWG could add a option to have the old oceans back. I know a lot of people hated them, but i am one of those who liked to explore the seas. Thanks!
hi, I'd like to test various seeds in SSP. However it's necessary to manually enter my BWG biomes configuration again and again for every new world (new seed). Is it way to copy BWG setting to new world in SSP ?
Yeah. Didn't you see the Copy To Clipboard option at the generator screen?
Ive been reading back a few pages and cant find the answer to this question.... Where is the better default section, where I get to choose which biomes I want? I loved your swamps! Are you still planning on adding this option, or is the mod finished now?
But I do have a small problem. No mobs spawn in either of the Cave options (and yes, I'm using the correct versions of both MC and the mod and I've followed the installation procedures). I only play SSP, so it's not a server-related error.

ores should spawn in all bwg4 worlds
they won't spawn but you can still get mycelium from dungeon chests.
what about strongholds

And no, it's not on Peaceful
Can anyone help me, please?
Ah, thanks
