So, the munchies debuff seems kind of harsh. It's draining like one hunger unit / sec and on hard difficulty where starving = death, smoking = suicide.
Also, if you die while under the effects, when you respawn the F8 'slowing effect' remains. You have to tap F8 to get rid of it.
Also, the shrooms don't appear to be working correctly for me. I just get a nauseous effect while the screen strobes from normal view + nausea to a single opaque random color. I assume it's supposed to be transparent with a smoother transition? I suspect one of my many gui-adding mods are conflicting. Mapwriter, Battlegear, Ars Magica, and Thaumcraft all add gui elements to the main screen (These flicker on and off during the shroom effect, btw)

Yeah, thats been noted. Ill probably just change it back to giving you the hunger potion effect.
Ill add in a check to fix that if you die!
I keep getting reports about the shrooms. It works fine for me in my workspace. Ill look into it. Thanks.

It's funny to have this mod installed with Enviromine. With the munchies I was mowing through cooked chicken and ended up with heat stroke. Lol.
I also like the mouse slowness, but I think you should also make the walk slow too. And perhaps with the munchies, you could leave it as is, but if there is a way to figure out if it's close to end up making you starve to death, it stops making you hungry. It could also start back up again, making you hungry when you go past that threshold in saturation.

That would actually be a good idea. Making the munchies slow down as your hunger lowers would be much better!
I love this mod, its brilliantly made but for some reason when I consume the weed using a pipe, bong , hookah or joint there's no smoke, so it just looks like he is eating the joint or sucking the pipe. Anyone know how to make the smoke?
Oh and I also dont get a roach left over after smoking joints
Maybe you have the vanilla particle setting set to minimal or something?
Thats strange, ill look into the roach issue. They don't do anything at the moment anyway!
Thanks , yeh you were right , forgot i'd set the particles to min for a performance test and didnt change it back.
One more thing, is there a way to lessen or switch off the 'munchies' effect for smoking weed? I love the concept of smoking it and the 'high effect' is really fun but everytime I smoke some hemp/weed I always die cos the munchies drains my health like a B***h
I've had a few people complain about that, it will be fixed when I update to 1.7!
Ive done a youtube video over viewing the mod if anyone wants to see it in action before they get it.
I didnt cover everything in the mod, nor was I very slick in my explanations but it at least shows off some of the mods awesome features and level of depth.
Awesome, not surprised though. Ive dont loads of research and its one of only 2 or 3 mods related to weed/smoking , the tobacco craft mod looks brilliant but was for 1.2.5 and is now dead so by being active still, and really detailed, this is easily the best smoking mod out there. Cant wait for the new update! please let us know when you have an ETA for it
Your right, its not a common mod category...
Ill be sure to inform everyone when the update is on the final stretch!

If you look at the top of the log it tells you what the problem is.
There is a block ID conflict between BoP and Herblore. You will need to change it in one of the configs.
Please post the logs in spoiler tags too.
True... It would be cool.
BUT, that will probably never happen!
It will happen.
Dont worry, I have some grand plans.
You will be surprised.

Glad you like it.

Yep, it probably wont be called Herblore though.
I've had a few people complain about that, it will be fixed when I update to 1.7!
Thanks, dude. Good job.

I'll post a link when it's done.
